DJ/producer Calvin Harris has assembled an all-star team of bonafide hitmakers to ensure his newest single, ‘Feels,’ has no trouble feeling its way to the top of the Billboard Hot 100.

Featuring Katy Perry, Pharrell Williams, and Big Sean, the new single – the latest cut from Harris’s forthcoming fifth studio album, ‘Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1’ (June 30) – is a guitar driven, disco-tinged affair that sees its trio of talents show off their stuff in ways we’ve never heard from any of their respective solo efforts.

As if reaching 4x platinum status in the United States and topping the singles charts of over 30 countries at its height wasn’t enough, Ed Sheeran‘s comeback hit – ‘Shape of You’ – is still helping the singer reshape Spotify and Hot 100 history books months after its debut.

That’s right, after smashing 1 day streaming records for Spotify, the tune has become the third song ever to reach the “1 billion streams” mark on the platform (first ever by a solo male vocalist).  Add to this, ‘Shape’ – which spent 12 non-consecutive weeks at #1 on the Hot 100 – is still in the top 5 this week.  Actually moving back up charts, Billboard reports:

Ed Sheeran‘s former 12-week Hot 100 No. 1 “Shape of You” rebounds 5-4, and extends its record for the most weeks spent in the top five from a song’s debut, having now collected its first 22 weeks on the Hot 100 in the top five, dating to its arrival at No. 1 (Jan. 28).

Congratz are in order for Sheeran.  Now, tuck in below to see who joins the redhead hitmaker in this week’s refreshed ‘TGJ Chart Check.’

Another day, another drama for Chris Brown. And this time it centers around his ex Karrueche Tran.

The socialite turned Emmy winner scored a major legal victory today – succeeding in her bid for a restraining order against the singer in a Santa Monica court.

E! News confirm that Tran was awarded a five-year protection order from her 28-year-old ex who was not present for the hearing.

During proceedings, two voicemails Brown left for Tran were played – and they were not flattering. The ‘Back To Sleep’ belter reportedly reeled off successive curse words, threats and angry-offensive remarks to his former flame about rings he had gifted her and wanted back.

What’s more, in text messages from Brown submitted as evidence, he is said to have threatened to “beat the ****” out of her, claimed he would make her hate him “even more” if they were ever in the same place in public and told her that if she’s his enemy, he “won’t hold back so stay in your place.” In another message, he reportedly spewed, “I want my motherf–king rings back or I’m going to hurt your limbs.”

Another L for our boy Steve Harvey.

The actor/comic – whose 2017 has already been rocked by slams from critics of his support of President Donald Trump, commentary on women, jokes about Asians, and more – is adding a new set of enemies to that growing list:  Flint, MI residents.

As readers know, the city gained global attention after battling a water crisis that’s severely and negatively impacted the health of its residents – namely its children.  A sensitive situation for all involved, Harvey took time to make a joke about the matter, much to the chagrin of…umm…everybody!

See inside:

Needless to say, the commentary didn’t bode well with social media users – many of whom took to various platforms to roast the embattled comic.

In fact, even the mayor called for a public apology from Harvey.

NeNe Leakes made headlines yesterday when she announced her ‘Real Housewives Of Atlanta’ return.

Trumpeting her comeback with the phrase “all hail the Queen,” the reality star sent fans into a frenzy following months of rumors.

What she didn’t divulge, however, were specifics about her role in the Bravo hit’s 10th season.

Well, according to TMZ, Leakes will will indeed be back on RHOA – but in a limited capacity.

Sources aka NeNe’s team cite her “other commitments” as the reason for her inability to sign-up full-time. It would appear she has a similar deal as fellow original Kim Zolciak, whose part-time return was confirmed back in April.

Filming has begun for the show’s new season, but NeNe has yet to shoot any scenes.

Are you buzzed about her return?

If you think your eyes are deceiving you, think again. Zendaya has indeed landed on the cover of Vogue Magazine.

The 20-year-old singer/actress looks breathtaking a-front of the July 2017 issue of the fashion bible – and pairs the image with an equally engaging interview feature.

Peep this excerpt on how she had been making moves behind the scenes – dating back to her Disney Channel days:

“I got in a room with the heads of Disney Channel,” Zendaya says, recounting a meeting that took place four years ago, when she was sixteen. By this time she had already completed her first Disney show, Shake It Up, in which she costarred as an aspiring dancer alongside Bella Thorne. For her to sign on to K.C. Undercover, she decided, Disney would need to meet demands. First they would need to make her a producer. Next she objected to the show’s title, which at the time was Super Awesome Katy. “I was like, ‘The title is whack. That’s gonna change.’ ” She then rejected her character’s name (“Do I look like a Katy to you?”) and insisted that the show feature a family of color.

There were other conditions: “I wanted to make sure that she wasn’t good at singing or acting or dancing. That she wasn’t artistically inclined. I didn’t want them to all of a sudden be like, ‘Oh, yeah, and then she sings this episode!’ No. She can’t dance; she can’t sing. She can’t do that stuff. There are other things that a girl can be.” Zendaya issued some final requirements: “I want her to be martial arts–trained. I want her to be able to do everything that a guy can do. I want her to be just as smart as everybody else. I want her to be a brainiac. I want her to be able to think on her feet. But I also want her to be socially awkward, not a cool kid. I want her to be normal with an extraordinary life.”

In using her leverage to seize control in this manner, Ajamu says, “she broke all the rules.” To Zendaya, it was a no-brainer. “A lot of people don’t realize their power,” she says. “I have so many friends who say yes to everything or feel like they can’t stand up for themselves in a situation.” She is now pounding a fist on the dining table at Soho House. “No: You have the power.”

After such a huge look, here’s hoping she can leverage this to benefit her music and acting careers.

Presently, she skews more “it girl” than anything else. We do know she has talent beyond that, so fingers crossed this allows her to showcase that on a grander scale.

Nicki Minaj is determined to reach higher creative ground.

Often criticised for failing to deliver moment-making music videos and performances, the rapper has employed the services of Jamie King to take her next era and its visuals to dizzyingly high levels.

Unfamiliar with King’s work?

The pair’s creative union birthed her stellar Billboard Music Awards performance and will see them erect a number of high-end creative pieces for the campaign she is building to support her next studio album.

How she feels about her exciting new direction?

Listen to her interview with DJ Whoo Kid below…

After failing to support her material with impressive visuals for years Minaj is taking ten steps in the right direction by hiring King.

For, while she outperforms the majority of her contemporaries on a sales and impact front, she often finds herself at the bottom of the list when it comes to videos and performance.

Bring on #NM4.

Rita Ora has achieved global fame, yet throughout her journey she has always repped her West London rooting.

Hence, it’s little surprise that – like millions the world over – she has been left devastated by the Grenfell Tower fire.

The tragedy, which has made headlines globally, occurred in the singer’s hometown in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Jetting into London following filming commitments in LA later in the afternoon, Ora immediately journeyed to the scene.

Joining other do-gooders, the singer helped hand out water and other essentials to the thousands lefts displaced by the disaster.

She also took to social media to encourage others to do the same:

Much respect to the likes of Rita and Adele, who are using their time and platforms for good.

What do you make of these numbers?

Home to studios and labels she worked in as an up and coming art, London’s affluent Kensington and Chelsea undoubtedly holds a special place in Adele’s heart.

So, after learning that a number of its residents had died following a brutal fire, she dropped everything to join efforts to support and rescue survivors.

Reports indicate that twelve people lost their lives as a result of the fire but that number is unfortunately expected to rise as survivors seek answers from the authorities responsible for looking after the apartment block.

This letter was sent to them four months before the tragedy.

The world is still buzzing from the day’s early reports that music diva Beyonce had indeed delivered her twins in Los Angeles.

Though as of the time of this article’s publishing no official news from the singer’s camp has confirmed the news, that hasn’t stopped media outlets and fans alike from speculating the ‘Baby Boy’ beauty is celebrating the babies’ arrivals.

As the speculation mounts, Twitter has become a breeding ground for GIFs and hilarious #Beyhive reactions to the hoopla – which includes some seriously funny jabs at President Donald Trump (who celebrates his 71st birthday today).

See it all inside and don’t say we didn’t warn you about the laughs to come:
