It’s been a long and often rocky road for SZA in the run-up to the release of her debut album ‘CTRL.’ But after much ado the LP will finally land at retail on June 9th.

With preceding cuts such as ‘Love Galore’ and ‘Broken Clocks’ creating buzz (as well as the lingering love for her Rihanna collaboration ‘Consideration’), the soulful songbird cranks things up a notch the tracklist unveiling for the project.

Joining her on the 14-song set are TDE comrade Kendrick Lamar, Travis Scott, Isaiah Rashad, and James Fauntleroy.

Justin Bieber dominated the airwaves through much of 2015 and ’16 with his ‘Purpose’ project.

Little is known about its follow-up, but what is certain is that new music is on its way imminently.

Taking to Twitter moments ago, the 23-year-old announced a brand new collaboration with Dance maestro David Guetta:

New music. This Friday. Me and @davidguetta #2U

Word on the curb is that the song Guetta’s and is the follow-up to the Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne assisted ‘Light My Body Up.’ With that track only managing a #6 peak on the Billboard Bubbling Under Hot 100 Chart, will Bieber’s offering fair better?

The funnyman was in the house to promote new autobiography ‘I Can’t Make This Up,’ but spoke on a range of topics.

In 1998 Oprah Winfrey led the film adaptation of Toni Morrison‘s horror ‘Beloved’.

In it, with support from Kimberly Elise and Thandie Newton, Winfrey told the tale of an enslaved African woman who- after escaping the horrific plantation she was enslaved in- murders her baby to stop the child from being enslaved when she is close to being captured.

This year, Winfrey and Newton reunited for ‘Actors on Actors’ to discuss the craft of acting, their history and their respective careers.

The ‘ANTI’ era may have climaxed, but Rihanna fans needn’t fret because the commander of the Navy is gearing up to unleash that new-new.

As reported, the 29-year-old will appear on DJ Khaled‘s star-studded 10th album ‘Grateful.’

And with the LP, which also features Beyonce and Jay Z, being due on June 23rd, Rih and Snapchat king Khaled are wasting no time with the roll-out of their offering.

The pair, alongside Bryson Tiller, were all snapped shooting a video for the as yet unnamed track in Miami.

Is Hip-Hop’s aversion for Lil Yatchy‘s pro-gay ‘Teenage Emotions’ album to blame for the modest first week sales it drew in?

Execs at Capitol will undoubtedly search high and low for the answer to that question as they find themselves faced with after watching the project welcome only 46,000 units in its opening week.

The set opened at #5 and was outsold by Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Damn’ which spent this week at #2, almost three months after its unveiling.

Message to all my fans. I just want to thank you for giving me your all. Supporting me and backing me up when I'm not around but am always in spirit. I didn't make this 21 project for the old reviews and bloggers. I made it for real Lil yachty fans who have been dying for new music from me… that's why I put so many songs.. that's why it's mostly just me. Because it's from me to you. I understand first week numbers didn't do what most people expected but that's only because they don't understand me. They don't understand us. I don't expect anybody to. I make it for those who listen. I feel like my brand is so big and blew up so big, it blew up bigger than my actual music. Lil Kim‘s financial woes have reached new lows.

For, despite rocking fans with several sold-out live shows, she has been unable to raise the money she needed to stop her house from going into foreclosure.

Why?

A  judge has ordered her estate in New Jersey to be foreclosed after learning that she failed to commit to a payment plan put in place to help her pay her $10,000 per month mortgage.

Bergen Country court documents reveal that Kim owes more than $1,929,358.88 on the home.

The house will now be auctioned off.

Here’s hoping things pick up for the Hip Hop veteran.

Just two weeks ago Black Eyed Peas frontman, Will.i.am, reignited burning rumors that the group’s leading female, Fergie, would not be lending her talents to their next batch of hits.

As we reported here, his cryptic Instagram post – in conjunction with confirmed reports she is still set to release her long-awaited sophomore album ‘Double Dutchess’ – sent fans of the group buzzing that the ‘Big Girls Don’t Cry’ beauty was ousted from the quartet.

A rep for the songstress says this is not so…

Taking to the Associated Press, the rep stated “…the songstress has not left the group” and that she “concentrating on her new album and can’t wait for fans to hear it.” The quote came just days after Ahlan! magazine published an interview with Will.i.am where he implied the songstress was no longer in the group.

He’s quoted saying:

“She’s working on her solo project at the moment, we’re on this brand-new experience, celebrating 20 years of Black Eyed Peas putting out music. We worked on a bunch of songs on her solo record, we’re proud that she has her label, but Black Eyed Peas are pushing it forward in terms of content, technology and experiences on our new project, Masters of the Sun.”

As the quote caught fire across the net, Will took to Twitter over the weekend to say:

“@Fergie is focusing on #DoubleDutchess & @BEP is doing #MastersOfTheSun…That doesn’t mean @fergie is out of the group #BEP4ever,” he tweeted.
