With lead single ‘No Sleeep’ dancing to the top of the Adult R&B charts and her world tour set to kick off in a mere matter of weeks, the legendary diva is giving the masses a sneak peek at the LP’s cover shoot.

Lensed by famed photographer Yu Tsai, the edgy shoot – which was styled by Kim Bowen – sees the songstress embrace a demure, grown aesthetic, while remaining her ever-striking self.

R&B star Monica will turn the charts a hot hue of red on September 18th when her eighth studio album ‘Code Red’ charges into stores.

Proceeded by lead single ‘Just Right For Me (ft. Lil Wayne),’ the set was previewed for the singer’s label and select media in New York tonight.

To celebrate the event, the Grammy winner changed the main image on her social media accounts to the shot above – prompting suggestion that it may be the LP’s official cover.

Thereafter, she took to Instagram and posted a video with the same snap – further lending to the view that its the project’s artwork. Check it out below…

Kelly Rowland gave the models at Max Azria‘s fashion presentation last night a run for their money.

The ‘Motivation’ maven served all sorts of diva as she arrived at the LA showcase, which saw the latest from the designer’s BCBG collection unveiled.

Moving forward, the next few months are set to be busy ones for the married mother of one.

Shooting is underway for her new BET talent-search ‘Chasing Destiny,’ while recording continues for her hotly anticipated fifth studio album – which Rowland promises will boast a more uptempo sound.

With September fast approaching, so too is the season 2 premiere of ‘Empire.’

The Lee Daniels music drama struts back onto FOX on September 23rd and promises to deliver dynamite storylines as well as a host of appearances from some of Hollywood’s top names.

Indeed, the likes of Mariah Carey, Kelly Rowland, Alicia Keys, Chris Rock, and Lenny Kravitz are confirmed to feature on the show’s sophomore run, while Terrence Howard, Taraji P. Henson, Trai Byers, Jussie Smollett, and Bryshere Gray all return as anchors.

queen latifah mary j. blige the wiz

Reports have it the highly anticipated remake of the classic Diana Ross musical film ‘The Wiz’ (a Motown-inspired twist on Judy Garland‘s ‘The Wizard of Oz’) just added entertainment royalty to its cast via Queen of Hip Hop Soul Mary J. Blige and Queen Latifah.

Set to air December 3rd on NBC, the live musical adaptation will see the divas take on two of the flick’s most beloved characters – The Wizard and the Wicked Witch of the West.
