When Rihanna revealed that her eighth studio album would flaunt the cooler, calmer and artistic side to her personality fans had hoped the singer would deliver an LP that would be hailed as her very own ‘Velvet Rope’ or ‘Ray of Light.’

However today saw the star prove that versatility is the name of her game with the new jam ‘Bitch Better Have My Money‘, a far cry from the sound she promised to deliver but far more exciting than ‘Four Five Seconds’, a single more in line with her new older & wiser sound.

Alas, the bop’s large and in charge vibe hasn’t stopped the star from being called a copycat today, accused of drawing inspiration from her ‘Flawless‘ competitor Beyonce.

Tinashe is no time waster.

Having just been announced as an opener on Nicki Minaj’s ‘Pinkprint Tour’ (after dropping out of Iggy Azalea postponed trek), the singer is gearing up to unleash the video for new single ‘All Hands On Deck.’

The club jam is the latest cut to be served up from the 22-year-old’s debut album ‘Aquarius.’

Interestingly, despite being preceded by ‘2 On’ and ‘Pretend,’ the rising star told Style.com Arabia that the track is the project’s second single.

Speaking on the clip’s arrival, she gushed:

The ‘All Hands On Deck’ music video is coming out very soon, so definitely be on the lookout for that. It’s my second single and I’m really excited to share a sneak peek with you.

Chris Brown‘s life is fast morphing into an episode of Sunset Beach.

Talented with a wealth of success under his belt, the singer has been publicly plagued by a series of personal problems – the latest of which being that he fathered a daughter unbeknownst to his girlfriend, Karrueche Tran.

Fed up, the model announced her latest break-up with the star on Twitter.

Now, though, it’s emerged that she’s taking her story to TV.

Hitmaker Pharrell Williams’ 2015 came in with a bang as he was able to celebrate two consecutive year-end chart-toppers with Robin Thicke‘s ‘Blurred Lines’ (2013) and his own ‘Happy’ (2014).

This week, however, brought with it news that certainly didn’t bring a smile to Williams face after he, Thicke, and Sony were found liable for ripping off Marvin Gaye‘s hit single ‘Got To Give It Up’ – a misstep that cost the trio a hefty $7 million.

Today brought with it the release of ‘Rebel Heart’ – Queen of Pop Madonna‘s 13th full length studio LP.  Though, on one hand, greeted with overall positive reviews from the industry’s top critics, the delivery of their thumbs up come as a sigh of relief, so to speak, for an era that to date has seen no dearth of dilemmas for the daring diva (see:  multiple leaks, on-stage fall, overall messiness).

Yet, in what is no unexpected response, the Material Girl is pressing forward with her new material as one thing remains certain:  the challenges have only helped reaffirm the fighter in the 56-year-old…
