The week’s most talked about performance finally happened tonight.

Grammy winning R&B songstress Chrisette Michele, despite an ongoing backlash that saw her slammed from every corner of Twitter, took to the stage tonight in honor of Donald Trump‘s inauguration to the tune of a reported $250,000 payout (contrary to the previously alleged $750,000).

This despite The Roots star, Questlove, offering to pay her the same to NOT perform.  Well…we know how this story ended.

Bruno Mars is bringing his ’24k Magic’ party to Asian shores ahead of his world tour.

The Soul-Pop crooner was joined by his crew, The Hooligans, as he performed the title track of his hit LP on Music Station in Japan.

Serving up smooth moves and slick vocals, the 30-year-old delivered a preview of what folk can expect when his ’24 Magic World Tour’ kicks off in March.

After a brief hiatus, ‘How To Get Away With Murder’ is back on January 26th  for the second half of its third season.

The legal drama, which stars Emmy winner Viola Davis, follows a group of ambitious law students and their brilliant criminal defence professor. Last season brought with it a countless list of twists and the newest instalment is already delivering a whole lot more. 

It all makes for a riveting watch. And like millions, we’re already hooked!

As we reported here last week, Ed Sheeran was in shape to make history with ‘Shape of You’ and ‘Castle on the Hill’ – the highly anticipated leading releases from his forthcoming album, ‘Divide.’

Now that the Billboard Hot 100 has refreshed, news has officially come in indicating the singer/songwriter has indeed penciled his name into history books for a jaw-dropping feat.

Billboard reports:

‘[Ed Sheeran] becomes the first artist ever to debut in the top 10 with two songs simultaneously, as “Castle on the Hill” follows with an entrance at No. 6.  [‘Shape’] rockets in powered most heavily by sales…240,000 first-week downloads sold in the week ending Jan. 12, according to Nielsen Music.

Sheeran simultaneously starts at No. 6 on the Hot 100 with “Castle on the Hill,” which opens at No. 2 on Digital Song Sales (171,000 sold)…
