Nicki Minaj has had her beloved fan base (affectionately called #Barbz) gagging all week.

As if dropping her long-awaited fifth studio album, ‘Pink Friday 2,’ wasn’t enough to send them into a frenzy on Friday (December 8), she followed by dropping songs that didn’t make the cut of the original the next week.

After her followers initially complained the latter (Love Me Enough featuring Monica and Keyshia Cole) wasn’t immediately available on streaming platforms, Minaj answered by unveiling an entirely new version of ‘PF2.’

Titled ‘Gag City: Deluxe Edition,‘ hop inside to stream the set.

As previously reported, singer-actress Renee Rapp – who is set to lead the ‘Mean Girls’ musical movie hitting theaters in January 2024 – took to social media earlier this week to announce ‘Not My Fault,’ the first taste of new music from the film’s official soundtrack, would hit digital shelves this Friday (December 15).

Keeping true to her word, the Ryan Tedder-produced jam arrived as scheduled and features none other than GRAMMY-winning chart-topper Megan Thee Stallion.

Nicki Minaj‘s long-awaited fifth studio album,Pink Friday 2,’ charged to digital shelves on Friday (December 8) and within 24 hours was predicted to deliver her biggest first-week sales since 2014’s ‘The Pinkprint.’

Days later, industry analyst revised the projected sum upward to assert the LP would enter the Billboard 200 at #1 with the highest opening numbers of any female Rap album this decade – nearly twice that of the previous recordholder, Doja Cat‘s ‘Planet HER.’

The win may have been trumpeted by Minaj’s dedicated fans worldwide (affectionately called #Barbz), but their GRAMMY-nominated leader dropped jaws when she took to Twitter on Thursday evening (December 14) to tell them to stop streaming the project.

Just last week the Pop diva grabbed headlines for her TIME’s Person of the Year interview in which she detailed the “psychologically” damaging experiences she faced as a result of interactions with Kanye and his former wife Kim Kardashian (which ultimately stems from the rapper-mogul infamously interrupting her VMA acceptance speech in 2009).

More recently, another of West’s exes – model-actress Amber Rose (who he was with at the time of the award show ceremony) – shared her thoughts on the 14-year-old incident after being quizzed by ‘ET.’

From print to Web, radio, television, and beyond, ‘The Color Purple’ stars Taraji P. Henson, Fantasia, and Danielle Brooks have seemingly hit every high-profile outlet in America to trumpet the December 25 theater arrival of the highly anticipated film.

Arguably, none of their promotional appearances to date could have more meaning than their visit to ‘The View’ on Wednesday (December 13) where they sat down with Whoopi Goldberg and co. to dish about the movie’s enduring legacy and impact.
