Mary J. Blige may have sung about ‘No More Drama,’ but her divorce is playing out quite theatrically.

As reported, the singer called time on her 12-year marriage to manager Kendu Issacs in July.

At the time she cited “irreconcilable differences” and it seems as though the differences also thread through their expectations of what’s owed and what’s not.

The Toronto Film Festival welcomed the cast and creatives behind ‘Moonlight’ to share its story with movie lovers recently.

There, Naomie Harris, Barry Jenkins and Tarell Alvin McCraney sat down to help the movie’s supporters dig deeper into its tale of homophobia within the deeply religious African-American community.

Fans who thought Drake‘s domination of the 2016’s Billboard 200 date was waning are sadly mistaken if the rumor mill is to be believed.

Word has it, after moving the sales equivalence of over 1.4 million in the U.S. alone (since April), the superstar rapper is bringing a revamped version of the project to stores very soon.

But, just as fans ready their coins for Drizzy’s newest offerings, the rumor mill is also spinning stories that the long-awaited return of ‘Uptown Funk’ creator Bruno Mars is set to land on sales outlets in the same time frame.

At just 23-years-old former One Direction star Zayn Malik has lived a storied life that some two or three times his age couldn’t boast.

Now, after teaming up with Dick Wolf to produce a boy band drama for NBC, the ‘Like I Would’ wailer is readying the release of his first autobiography.  Published via Penguin Random House, the book will reportedly see Malik “open up with a collection of thoughts, inspirations, personal stories, notes and drawings, and never-before-seen personal photographs.”

Rapstress Rah Digga, best known for her work as part of the Busta Rhymes-led Flipmode Squad, hasn’t exactly seen her name atop headlines much over the past decade.  However, some timely shade thrown at current femcee phenom, Nicki Minaj, has certainly hoisted the 2000’s rapstress to the top of headlines for all the wrong reasons.

Indeed, after providing a not-so-subtle clapback to a fan who pitted the rapstresses against each other, Digga’s response was taken as a dig toward ongoing rumors that Safaree – Minaj’s ex-boyfriend of over a decade – was the ghost writer behind most of the Grammy nominee’s most memorable bars.

News around Tinashe‘s sophomore album, ‘Joyride,’ would be more adequately described as a rollercoaster.

The stageblazing newcomer seemed to get things kicked off right with her Chris Brown-assisted tune, ‘Player,’ and its follow-up, ‘Superlove,’ but from the looks of charts, her offerings haven’t exactly been getting super love from music lovers.

Justin Timberlake‘s 2002 hit, ‘Cry Me A River,’ was indication his romantic relationship with burgeoning pop icon Britney Spears didn’t exactly end well.

Apparently, let the former lovebirds tell it, time really does heal all wounds.  For, after Spears added Timberlake’s name to the list of “people she’d love to collaborate in the future” (a list that also includes Celine Dion and Mariah Carey), word got back to the ’20/20 Experience’ creator.

Having run through seven record deals before hitting it big, Tamar Braxton is renown for her perseverance.

It’s a trait she’s holding onto firmly following her dramatic departure from ‘The Real’ earlier this summer.

Lady GaGa‘s long-time friend Sway Calloway welcomed her to his thriving platform ‘Sway in the Morning’ to discuss her new single ‘Perfect Illusion.’

Promising a more human side to her on her next record, GaGa used the interview to reveal that much of the LP’s sound was born out of her desire to reach out to members of the general public who may have found her difficult to relate to the past.
