Lady GaGa‘s long-time friend Sway Calloway welcomed her to his thriving platform ‘Sway in the Morning’ to discuss her new single ‘Perfect Illusion.’

Promising a more human side to her on her next record, GaGa used the interview to reveal that much of the LP’s sound was born out of her desire to reach out to members of the general public who may have found her difficult to relate to the past.

How she described it?

It’s me writing to myself as if this (fame) had never happened.

Press play to catch the artistic and centred star explain it all below…

We can’t wait to hear it!

For us, the artist’s commercial problems following the release of the cold, distant but well-meaning ‘Born this Way.’

Five years later, it seems that the artist has found the formula to rectify her creative mistake by offering the world a soulful set she undoubtedly hopes will reach audiences she may have pushed away in the past.

I just love GaGa! A true talent.

    • JOHNVIDAL September 14, 2016

      Yes definitely a real talent.

    • ? September 14, 2016

No we need Gaga to go back to the fame style of music

  2. B_Roni September 14, 2016

I just noticed that Beyonce and Rihanna don’t even do these types of shows anymore. They never go into radio stations or even talk shows unless it’s Ellen or Oprah. But anyway, I hope her album has some good songs. She is talented.

    • HailLegendBeysus September 14, 2016

Beyoncé just doesn’t do anything any more in general lol! Although rumors are circulating a possible Oprah interview is coming.

    • LOL September 14, 2016

LOL ITS BECAUSE THAT S**** JAY Z MARRIED DOESN’T KNOW HOW TO TO TALK IN COMPLETE SENTENCES THAT’S WHY LOL.

“I will say that I am a little worried about Gaga’s ability to deliver on the bizarre factor because she’s been appearing in public looking more normal than usual, but I’m going to take the over on this bet and put money on the fact that she could turn up the strange when called upon. Because if we can’t have living legends (oh come on Gaga fans, even you know she isn’t at Beyoncé or Kanye’s level) performing high art out there at Levi’s Stadium, at least give us something totally wack.” —USA Today

Where were the lies tho? Everyone says it. Gaga is nothing without her gimmicks and shock! It’s not even shade it’s just truth, which is why she fell off trying to go all artsy with Artpop.

Just like Beyoncé isn’t anything without her choreographers, writers, Janet’s and Tina’s blueprints, etc.

I don’t understand why people put Bey on a pedestal. Her lyrics aren’t groundbreaking, her voice isn’t phenomenal, her dancing isn’t impeccable, and her overall artistry is inauthentic and contrived at best. And, similar to GaGa, she uses trendy gimmicks to market herself: feminism, black power, etc. (next will be LGBTQ rights/pride if her previous endeavors are anything to go by). The only difference is GaGa’s gimmicks are more blatant, such as her outlandish couture. What I’m getting at is Bey isn’t echelons above GaGa on any measure like many of her hive members argue. As for Kanye, I’ll admit I’m not a rap fan or aficionado by any means, and, consequently, I’ve never listened to a Kanye album in full, so I can’t accurately comment on his music.

      • HailLegendBeysus September 14, 2016

Lmfaooo the reach and a clear cut case of commenting before knowing. Beyoncé didn’t use gimmicks. From 98-13 her career completely stood off the her talent. She has always contributed to her Black Community. The difference is she doesn’t go running to a news papper or paparazzi to advertise it. I bet you can’t even list 1/4 of the charities she has contributed to or endorsed. Her music has always been a considered an anthem for woman. Just look back in 04 when Monique did her tribute to Bey and told the World Yonce made it okay for a woman with curves to shake it!
        .
Lets be real all these artists are inspired by artists of the past. No one and I REPEAT NO ONE has been original since like the 1970s.
        .
As for an artists music being or feeling authentic isn’t for you to decide but the listener. Seeing as music is an subjective experience.
        .
Also Beyoncé has performed plenty of times with a stripped down performance. Don’t be mad at the Hive because Fadga overshadowed her talent with nonsense!

      • 227 September 14, 2016

        Oh, man. ?

        ••••

From 98-13 Beyoncé’s career stood off of the talent of others. Whether it be the vocal abilities of the other members of Destiny’s Child, Matthew’s managing skills, or the image boost and fans she received from being tied to Jay Z. And let’s not forget 60% of her billboard #1 singles feature another artist; Beyoncé has never been a one woman army, and to state that her career has ever stood off of her talent alone is a falsity as severe as stating dogs meow and cats bark.

        ••••

I’m not Beyoncé’s accountant, so you’re correct in that I can’t relay the names of the charities she’s donated to.

        ••••

We take life advice from comedians now? OK.

        ••••

Yes, everyone has been inspired to an extent. Even people before the 70s were inspired by those that came before them. Beyoncé’s issue is that she seems to increasingly be more inspired than others. To the effect where she’s more or less copying than using someone else’s ideas to construct something recognizable but fresh.

        ••••

I’m not mad at anyone lmao.

      • HailLegendBeysus September 14, 2016

        ????
        .
Beyoncé Talent has always been the drive of her career point blank. You don’t get to the level she’s at miming your way throw a performance (check Knee). You don’t get to her level using shock and gimmicks (check Fadga) and you don’t get to her level without having a massive stage presence and charisma like Bey. Otherwise we would have loads of artists competing at the top. Just look at the few LEGENDARY ENTERTAINERS the industry has had. MJ, Janet, Madonna, Tina Turner, Janis Joplin, James Brown, and Prince. All those artists had a natural ability to command a stage with ease. Something that obviously can’t be taught.
        .
Nobody ever said Beyoncé was a one woman army. That’s you viewing her as such. No one in the industry has made it to the top solely on their own and I love how your original comment pertained to gimmicks yet turned into an argument over her father’s management and drama with DC lol!
        .
        As for Beys #1s
        1. Crazy In Love ft Jay-Z will always remain a classic.
        2. Baby Boy ft Sean Paul is more a fan favorite
        3. Check On It ft Slim Thug is a forgotten #1
        4. Irreplaceable is arguably her most recognized #1 and it’s her as a solo artist. It crossed over to so many demographics.
        5. Single Ladies is it’s own classic with her SOLELY SINGING IT and won’t be forgotten anytime soon.
        .
Im still not here for this Beyoncé stays more inspired BS. She is that bitxh at the top and of course everyone is going to pick at everything she does. Take for instance the Kylie Monique and Beys compared performance of Deja Vu. When she’s like a robot in the bubble bee suit many said Bey stole the idea from Kylie but the Idea came from a short black and white movie from the early 1940s or 1950s. Point is when your on top haters will come for you.

      • #Nicole Nation September 14, 2016

Yikes @thinking single ladies is a classic!

That repetitive piece of s*** a classic?

In the words of bey herself, “ngga no!”

“Rude Boy” is more of a classic than that pile of d****** will ever be lmao.

        #I ain’t sorry

    • JOHNVIDAL September 14, 2016

      WHAT?
Gaga is nothing without gimmicks? What? She she cannot sing, songwrite (you know damn well who really doesn´t lol) and perform then? Look keep it cute cause Beyonce is finally doing some art now that she´s a veteran. Her artistry and originality left much to be desired her whole career. Be nice.

      • HailLegendBeysus September 14, 2016

Gagz seem to be just like Yonce change a word here and there and BAM you get a credit! (Til It Happens To You) ?☕

      • JOHNVIDAL September 14, 2016

Well at least you admit Beyonce is like that. I appreciate you´re not a delusional fan. But Gaga is a real songwriter, you can give an example, fine. Means nothing, she has plenty of songs. One can clearly see people like Gaga, Alicia Keys, Mariah Carey, Adele… are real songwriters. It´s very easy to tell.

  4. JuJu September 14, 2016

Damn the beytards have to bring beyonce up in everything.

Normal person: “Did you hear the news about the 1,000 people who got shot last night at that Meek Mill concert?”

Beytard: “Oh screw them I’m just glad it wasn’t at a beyonce concert! Beyonce would never let that happen at her concert. And BTW Beyonce’s new song slays you should go buy it on iTunes, fck those people who got killed nobody cares about them.”

Normal person: “Who are you voting for as the next president of the U.S.?”

Beytard: “Nobody cause Beyonce isn’t a candidate!”

Normal person: “Wow, that performance was really good. She can really sang!”

Beytard: “She’s okay but she’s not as good as Beyonce!”

Normal person: “I think this house is haunted.”

Beytard: “Haunted? Oooh…that’s a Beyonce song!”

  16. FASHION_ICON ~ Anti&Lemonade September 14, 2016

Gaga is all about gimmicks because nobody cares about her damn talent …the monster annoyed us with she got talent …well before being all about gimmicks nobody was checking for her now since she became a “Free B****” like she say she got noticed but still people saw gaga as crazy ect..
Then she sung the National anthem and got people shocked “ohh she can sing” then people stop checking for her because she’s turning normal…
Well a good songwriter ? Those ra ra ra romama gaga oh lala it’s certainly genious writing..not at JohnVidal saying Work it’s ridiculous stupid because is it repetitive when Gaga biggest hits is all about ra ra ra olala gaga olala or popopoker face popoker face lol
