Still riding high on the positive reception she received following the release of her ‘Hidden Figures’ trailer, the creative unlocks the the trailer for her new movie ‘Moonlight’ today.

The movie is a film adaptation of the book ‘In Moonlight Black Boys Look Blue’ and tells the story of a young African-American struggling to find his place in the world after learning that he is gay.

October 21st 2016 stands as its release.

The actress/fashion maven/songstress may have had her fair share of misses on the charts over the last few years, but when it comes to her critically acclaimed run in Las Vegas, she’s clearly hit a homerun.

As the weekend saw her conclude the first leg of ‘All I Have’ – her hit residency at Planet Hollywood (named after her 2002 LL Cool J-assisted hit of the same name) – early box office receipts are showing the run is ending on quite the high note.  In fact, figures indicate she’s headed toward history books.

Move over ‘Lip Sync Battle!’ SPIKE network has a new musical game show coming to its roster and, if buzz is anything to go by, it may just be what the doctor ordered!

Produced by singer/actress/‘The Voice’-coach Christina Aguilera, the series – called ‘Tracks’ – is set to be hosted by actor/soon-to-be rap retiree Shad Moss (Bow Wow) and is crashing onto TV screens with back-to-back episodes on September 1st.

Inspired by once popular musical game show ‘Name That Tune,’ the series will see competitors try to name a tune based on listening to clips or portions of the track.  Hear more about the show from Xtina herself below:

To say the ‘Suicide Squad’ soundtrack is killing the competition on the Billboard 200 may be ill-stated, but true nonetheless.

Indeed, after earning its fair share of thumbs down from critics at the box office, the movie itself dominated its premiere weekend in theaters to the tune of $133.6 million (breaking August box office records in the process). This week saw its official soundtrack, featuring contributions from the likes of Kehlani, Rick Ross, and Kanye West, Eminem, Rae Sremmurd, and many more, mirror its success by blasting to the top of the Billboard 200 on the wings of 182,000 sold (128,000 of this sum were traditional sales).

Fans of Britney Spears and Katy Perry were thrilled when the divas debuted in the top 20 of the singles charts with their latest releases, ‘Make Me’ and ‘Rise,’ respectively.

Yet, despite massive teasing by the former and an Olympics-fueled promotional campaign afforded to the latter, the diva duo haven’t exactly made the biggest splash. In fact, both songs saw major drops in the weeks that followed their premieres (‘Make Me’ from #17 down to #67 and ‘Rise’ from #11 to #43).

Now, thanks to two much-talked about visuals to accompany them, both songs have been lifted back into the upper half of the Hot 100.  Curious to find out where they landed on this week’s refreshed edition of the Sia-led tally?

Yeah, the summer may almost be over, but that hasn’t stopped former Danity Kane frontwoman D∆WN from bringing the heat.  This time, the songstress has given the visual treatment to fan favorite ‘Cali Sun.’

Getting by with a little help from friend Rob Coin, the eccentric singer took to Rolling Stone to unveil an animated clip in support of the tune.  She tells the mag:

“I’m excited to go back to animation,” she said. “I started in animation with my own comics and drawing, and even the Danity Kane name came from a character I created in high school.”
