Jidenna dons his dancing shoes in the video for his latest jam ‘Little Bit More.’

The song, which serves as the newcomer’s current single, embraces his Nigerian roots with its booming Afro-Beats bassline.

For its accompanying visual, the Wondaland member mirrors the song’s flavoursome sound and serves up colorful and choreographed clip that is right on time for the summer.

BET are rolling out the red carpet for Fantasia, ahead of the release of her fifth studio album ‘The Definition Of…’

Tomorrow at 9pm, the network will air a special in honor of the R&B belter.

Aptly titled ‘The Definition Of…Fantasia,’ the show will see the singer perform a career-spanning set for an intimate audience at LA’s Microsoft Lounge.

Included in the songlist are hits such as ‘When I See You’ and ‘Free Yourself.’ New single ‘Sleeping With The One I Love’ was also performed.

‘Girl on Fire’ Alicia Keys is still blazing the promo trail in support of ‘In Common’ – the first single from her yet-titled sixth album (tentatively due Fall 2016).

After taking to ‘SNL,‘ the UEFA Champions League Final, and the BET Awards with live showings of the Soca-flavored cut, tonight saw the Grammy winner lighting up the 2016 Democratic National Convention stage.

Wielding impressive performances of singles ‘Superwoman’ (‘As I Am’), ‘Girl On Fire,’ and, of course,  her latest tune ‘Common’ to a crowd of energetic Hillary Clinton supporters, tuck in below if you missed any of the action:

Nearly three months after the debut of his fourth studio album ‘Views,’ Grammy winning rapper Drake continues to enjoy the views from the top of the Billboard 200.  Yes, rockers Blink-182 may have briefly interrupted the Canadian emcee’s reign over the album charts two weeks ago, but after recapturing the position last week Drizzy continues to keep competition at bay.

Still enjoying the fruit of some historic streaming figures, this week fans were greeted with news their favorite rapper has earned his 11th non-consecutive week atop the tally.

Wendy Williams may have angered Rihanna‘s faithful fan base, affectionately coined ‘The Navy,’ when she proclaimed the Bajan beauty would “never be a legend,” but from the looks of things her Billboard stats are already trotting on legendary ground.

Indeed, her Billboard 200 resume may have hit a sour note or two over her 11 year tenure, but her Hot 100 track record is unmatched and decorated with many an accomplishment for tying or simply demolishing the Billboard Hot 100 records of many-a-legend before her (see:  Michael Jackson, Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, and more).

Already besting Queen of Pop Madonna‘s once thought untouchable record of “most top 10 singles amassed in the shortest period of time” (read more on that here), now the ‘Sledgehammer’ singer – thanks to her latest hit ‘Sex With Me’ – is looking to break yet another of the pop potentate’s history-making achievements.

The singing siren stuns casually on the cover of Footwear Weekly.

Super Ci’s appearance celebrates her partnership with Keds, which is the latest in a string of lucrative partnerships for the performer.

We imagine her branding endeavours will continue to boom given her cemented status as a fashionista. That and her recent wedding to wholesome footballer Russell Wilson. 

With the 30-year-old currently hard at work on her seventh studio album, we’re hoping she can parlay her heightened brand positioning towards the slaying of her music.

Because, from where we’re standing, there’s still ample mileage in the Ciara movement. A point evidenced in many ways, such as this…

By 2012, 15-time Grammy winner Alicia Keys began seeing her once hot sales streak cool.

The ‘Girl On Fire’ – whose first three albums consecutively topped the Billboard 200 and her fourth, ‘The Element of Freedom,’ delivered fair numbers in comparison – was no longer burning up the charts in means fans had become accustomed to.  In fact, some 12 years after her commercially and critically acclaimed debut ‘Songs in A Minor’ (2000), the ivory tickling diva didn’t exactly find much to laugh about when her fifth album, ‘Fire,’ crashed and burned after making a #1 debut to the first week sum of 159,000 – almost a third of what ‘Freedom’s first week declared just three years prior

Taking a period to cool off to focus on philanthropy and family (see:  giving birth to her second child in late 2014), the singer/songwriter continued to tease new music throughout the downtime – even promising fans something they “wouldn’t expect.”

That promise was finally manifested in May 2016 thanks to ‘In Common’…

Kelly Rowland and Frank Gatson had viewers hooked each week their BET talent search ‘Chasing Destiny.’

The end result of that journey saw the birth of Epic Records‘ newest girl-group June’s Diary.

Now, a month on from the season finale, fans have started a petition in hope’s of the show’s return.

There’s no official word on whether it’s received a pick-up, yet both Rowland and Gatson have expressed their desire to use a second cycle to create a male ensemble. A point the rally hopes to bring to fruition.

This Fall, E! invite the masses into ‘Mariah’s World’ as legendary diva Mariah Carey opens the doors to her life in a much hyped docu-series.

To promote the show, which she stresses “isn’t a reality show,” the 46-year-old poses it up for Complex Magazine.

Mimi leaves the clothes in her wardrobe (as has become customary) and sports a number of daring ensembles which accentuate her freshly svelte physique.

Speaking inside the feature, the engaged mother of two explains that the eight-part special will focus on her upcoming wedding to billionaire James Packer, her European tour, and family life.

It won’t, she assures, be like “some” shows which “talk about other people and what they do and la la la.” [Hilariously she said this while nodding in the direction of a private dining area where The Kardashians were taping a scene nearby.]
