Readers of That Grape Juice know what avid music lovers we are – especially of hits past.

So, as our retrospective features ‘From the Vault’ and ‘TGJ Replay’  allow us the chance to re-spin the gems and jams of yesterday of one artist, our newest feature Chart Rewind – a variation of our current Retro Rewind assay – accedes salutes to an entire era of music history.

This week we’re gonna rewind to ‘It’s Gonna Be Me’ – the second single from *NSYNC‘s mega-selling second album ‘No Strings Attached.’  Interestingly, while the group’s self-titled debut album sold over 10 million copies and its follow-up, ‘Attached,’ broke sales records by boasting a whopping 2.4 million units sold its first week (a record that was maintained until Adele‘s ’25’ shifted a shattering 3.38 million in 2015), the quintet’s successful narrative was devoid of one feat:  a #1 single.

That changed when ‘Me’ moseyed its way to #1 on the Hot 100 this week in 2000. Moving Matchbox 20 from the top spot, the pop tune led the pack for two consecutive weeks before being ousted by Sisqo‘s ‘Incomplete.’

Unknown to them at the time, the run would be their first and last reign over the singles chart.  Fun while it lasted right?  Anywho, tuck in below to see if any of your faves from today can be found on the summer 2000 chart:

Multi-time Wimbledon champion Serena Williams is the latest name to answer Vogue’s 73 Questions. 

The tennis superstar follows the likes of Victoria Beckham, Lupita Nyong’o, and Taylor Swift as the focus of the innovate interview segment.

In her instalment, Williams Serena muses on a number of topics. These include the most romantic thing a guy has ever done for her; Reddit being her favorite app (she’s rumored to be dating its CEO Alexis Ohanian); what Beyonce thought of her tribute to ‘7/11;’ why she’d like to raid Mariah Carey‘s closet and much more!

JoJo has uncaged the edgy video for comeback single ‘F**k Apologies.’

The Wiz Khalifa assisted cut is the first taste from the powerhouse’s much anticipated third album ‘Mad Love.’

Teased in earnest, the LP will arrive via Atlantic Records on October 14th.

It’s been the longest of journey’s for the 25-year-old – whose ability to release music commercially was halted by a legal wrangle with her former label.

With the drama behind her, the titan of talent is ready to charge ahead full speed…and unapologetically.

Self-obsessed couple Kanye West and Kim Kardashian celebrate their unique brand of indulgence on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar.

As well as poking fun at their image in the joint shoot, the pair wax honest about a number of topics including the Taylor Swift (who they infamously “exposed”) and how they want to be remembered.

Rapper ‘Ye also goes into depthy detail about his wife’s nude pictures, which he likens to a…wait for it…”renaissance painting.”

At this junction, we could go on about how much we miss the “old” Kanye; the Yeezy who’d lambast the farce that is this “duo.” But we won’t.

It’s been a long time coming, but patient fans of singer/songwriter Jojo can finally lay claim on the official first single from her long-awaited third album.

Unveiled tonight via a Facebook live video, the pint-sized powerhouse dished on the Wiz Khalifa-assisted song – ‘F*** Apologies’ – as well as its 15-track parent album, ‘Mad Love’ (in stores October 14th).
