Beyonce‘s ‘Lemonade’ success is proving to be no quick fizz.

A chart-topper upon release three weeks ago, the set has established itself as a consistent force – both on the streaming and sales front.

The latter has seen the LP sweep up another 155k in the most recent US tracking week; a number which rises to 220k when factoring in Sales-Plus-Streaming.

Next week is shaping up to be another winning window for the project commercially.

Billboard’s planned Prince tribute with Madonna has not impressed certain corners of the late singer’s fanbase.

The Pop queen has been tapped to perform at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards and, as at writing, she’s the only act enlisted for the “unmissable” tribute at the May 22nd ceremony.

Angered, a supporter of the Purple one started a petition demanding an amendment to the mono Madge line-up. And it’s gaining traction.

Competition within the streaming arena is heating up thanks to a series of major album exclusives.

For Jay Z’s TIDAL, it was the release of his wife Beyonce‘s ‘Lemonade’ LP that really positioned the platform as a plausible player.

The controversial project landed on the service first in the form of a stream and was released to retail 24 hours later. As at writing, it remains a TIDAL-only property on the streaming front.

Today, data released by the service, unveiled just how profitable said moves have been.

All roads lead to next Friday for Ariana Grande.

For, following a number of twists and turns, her third studio album ‘Dangerous Woman’ struts into stores on May 20th.

Beyond a push for the LP’s title track, the project’s campaign has been somewhat confusing. Indeed, it’s been difficult to decipher if Team Ari are trying to gain traction with the countless songs that have come out or instead showcase what the album has on offer as a body of work.

Thankfully, much of what we’ve heard has been stellar – a trajectory that continues with Future collaboration ‘Everyday.’
