Kanye West has officially announced his US presidential bid for 2024.

Going live with a video he christened #YE24, the clip sees the controversial star explain his rationale for running for office again (despite his failed 2020 effort).

West also seized the moment to seemingly jab Donald Trump (who he previously aligned with).

Recounting a seemingly recent encounter, the MC said: “I think the thing Trump was most perturbed about [was] me asking him to be my vice president. I think that was lower on the list of things that caught him off guard.”

He went on to claim that the former President slammed his ex-wife Kim Kardashian, before lambasting West – who made headlines recently after wearing a ‘White Lives Matter’ shirt – more.

The performer went on to add:

“[He] started basically screaming at me at the table, telling me I am going to lose,” then laughing as he added, “Has that worked for anyone in history?”

The reverberations from Kanye West‘s appearance on Drink Champs continue to spill over.

As reported, the controversial rapper took to the platform to pour fuel on the flames of his polarizing views about a multitude of topics – including race relations.

Perhaps most shocking were his remarks about George Floyd‘s death. For, despite former police officer Derek Chauvin being convicted of killing the unarmed Black man, West claimed that it was actually the drug Fentanyl that was the cause.

Now, host N.O.R.E. – who has been receiving heat in earnest for not taking West to task – is speaking up and out. And he’s in a remorseful space.

Kanye West has been the week’s hottest topic thanks to ongoing and fiery discussion around his controversial Yeezy custom White Lives Matter tee shirt – a conversation that was only heightened after the 24-time GRAMMY winner took to FOX News to defend the apparel, slam his ex-wife Kim Kardashian, and more.

And while the fire around the topic shows no signs of cooling, Ye’s incessant rants on Instagram over the week landed him in even hotter water with the good folks at Meta who took the liberty of restricting his IG account due to content deemed “anti-Semitic” (as confirmed by a rep from the organization).

In the post that’s since been removed, the 45-year-old also targeted his fellow Hip-Hop mogul, Diddy.  Look inside to see what he said that put him on the radar of the Bad Boy label exec’s rumored boo, Yung Miami.

Kanye West is no stranger to rendering controversial comments over his career, but this week’s load of explosive statements may have seen the GRAMMY winner even outdo himself.

Already embroiled in backlash for the unveiling of his Yeezy custom ‘White Lives Matter’ t-shirts, the ‘Gold Digger’ star dug the hole deeper when he took to Instagram to double down on the apparel’s purpose – even slamming the Black Lives Matter movement along the way.

Thursday night (October 6), Ye reiterated his stance via an appearance on Fox News’ ‘Tucker Carlson Tonight.

When not raising eyebrows for his discussion about the shirts, he got people talking for his critiques of Lizzo and the body-positive movement, slamming his ‘Christian’ ex-wife Kim Kardashian, and so much more.

And while Ye is no stranger to polarizing remarks, mystery surrounded his decision to tout the statement – which many, before him, have drawn as a means of minimizing the Black Lives Matter movement.

Well, it seems West is riding the same wave of thought.
