All roads lead to November 20th for Adele Adkins.

The 27 year old Brit songbird who took the music world by song in the early noughties is back and appears poised for a redo.  As if the record shattering success of ‘Hello,’ her long-awaited comeback single, wasn’t enough, industry analysts indicate the tune’s parent album, ’25,’ is on track to set the record for the best first-week sales of any LP ever (current record held by N’SYNC‘s 2000 ‘No Strings Attached’ album at 2.4 million sold).  The strength of pre-orders alone show the album will sell no less than 1 million its first week and will unquestionably surpass the first week sales record set by fellow ‘it girl’ Taylor Swift last year.

Pop queen Janet Jackson is currently heating up Hawaii with her mega-selling ‘Unbreakable World Tour.’

The diva has played three consecutive shows in the region and made sure to make a mark ahead of a series of shows in Japan next week.

Jackson journeyed through hits such as ‘Nasty,’ ‘All For You,’ and ‘Feedback.’ 

Much to fans’ delight, the 49-year-old also performed new number ‘Night’ for the first time last night.

As reported here, the Hip-Hop royal turned internationally recognised mogul Queen Latifah will honour ‘Four Door Aventador’ lyricist Nicki Minaj for her contributions to Hip-Hop music and entertainment.

The honour comes after Minaj made her first appearance on Latifah’s talk show to promote her ‘Myx Moscato’ beverage venture with the full backing of ‘Love & Hip Hop’ creator Mona Scott-Young.

Let’s face it:  Adele-mania is still very much running rampant.

While most artists see a severe decline in sales after a massive premiere week, reports have it her hit, ‘Hello,’ was greeted by news of 635,000 units moved its second week.  With this the powerhouse diva now occupies the number 1 and number 3 spots in history books for ‘most singles sold in a week.’

Yet, while Adele is definitely the one to watch this season, the focus isn’t entirely on her as fellow powerhouse, Ariana Grande, is posting mega-numbers in her own right. ‘Focus,’ the lead single from her forthcoming LP ‘Moonlight,’ is shining with an impressive top 10 debut on the wings of 113,000 sold and strong streaming numbers.  The tune’s chart placement gives her the distinct honor of being the first artist in history to debut in the top 10 on the Hot 100 with singles from his or her first three albums.

Nice going Ari and Addy!  Joined by Meghan Trainor and Taylor Swift, the ladies put some much needed estrogen back into the Hot 100’s top 10. See last week’s updated chart below:

Demi Lovato. It’s not a name you’re likely to see around these sides often. Why? We’ve always pegged her possessing ample talent…that has been packaged the wrong way.

That said, even we can’t deny the brilliance of her recent performance of Adele’s ‘Hello.’

The 23-year-old tackled the haunting hymn at the Seattle Fall Ball over the weekend and soared to vocal heights that are most definitely a must-see.

It’s officially Adele week.

The British singer’s long-awaited third album ’25’ lands in stores on Friday (November 20th) and will be ushered in with a global media campaign.

Joining a line-up of TV specials in the US and UK will be a 60 Minutes interview in Australia.

Set to air this Sunday (November 22nd), the episode will see the 27-year-old discuss her meteoric rise, as well as some of the challenges she’s faced along the way. It’ll also see her perform music from ’25’ – including a track she’s billed as one of her favorites titled ‘When We Were Young.’
