After observing fellow entertainers Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber make a number of desperate (and at times offensive) moves towards “Urban” music, the former Disney star finds his transition from PG-friendly Pop prince to grown’n’sexy Rhythm & Pop newbie welcomed by the very audience Cyrus and Bieber are still yet to win over completely.

Now listen to his latest effort ‘Numb‘, featuring rapper Angel Haze and packing a sound that’ll no doubt give a number of his contemporaries good reason to consider him serious competition.

Released on August 14th 2014, the infectious Rap single has now crossed sales of 1 million units, doing so with the help of no less than 100,000 units sold each week since the release of its music video!

After a lengthy break on the bench, ‘TGJ Replay’ is back!

Designed much like our ‘Retro Rewind’ and ‘From the Vault’ features, ‘Replay’ is That Grape Juice‘s newest retrospective segment – a written quest, if you will, to re-spin the gems and jams of yesterday.

Unlike its ‘Rewind’ and ‘Vault’ predecessors, ‘Replay’ looks to dust off and showcase entire albums (and eras) from a library of pop and Urban pop music hits.  As this week saw the release of ‘Point of No Return,’ the 6th album of R&B chanteuse Keyshia Cole, we thought it would be the perfect time to reminisce over her catalog and revisit our favorite album of hers –  ‘Just Like You.’

The dynamo diva serves up multiple flavours of fierce on the cover of Variety Magazine‘s Power Of Women issue.

J.Lo is among several major names to receive their own cover for the celebratory feature, which spotlights the leading ladies in Hollywood using their stardom to advocate for women around the world. Some of the other divas honored include Reese Witherspoon and Viola Davis. 

The spot arrives on the heels of the success of La Lopez’s latest hit single ‘Booty’ and precedes the debut of the star’s next feature film ‘The Boy Next Door’ – which debuts in January. On the said month, the 45-year-old’s return to American Idol as a judge will begin airing. Busy times!

The video for Jessie J‘s latest jam ‘Burnin’ Up (ft. 2 Chainz)’ blazed its way onto the net moments ago.

Directed by Hannah Lux Davis, the glamorous visual follows the the clip for ‘Bang Bang’. Both songs are housed on the Brit-bred belter’s new studio album ‘Sweet Talker’, which hits stores globally next Tuesday (October 14th).

While other series’ in Bravo’s ‘Real Housewives‘ empire have suffered more ratings lows than they have highs in recent years, the ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ stands tall as the only one to have enjoyed consistently high numbers almost a decade into its TV reign.

What it has the other show’s don’t. NeNe Leakes, who has seen her audience-pulling efforts earn her a brand new contract with the network, which sings to the tune of $1.5 million per season.

R&B newcomer Tinashe stopped by BET’s 106 & Park yesterday and seemed keen to prove why she’s here to stay.

The singer, whose debut album ‘Aquarius’ arrived in stores this week, took to the stage to perform the set’s two preceding singles ‘Pretend’ and Summer smash ‘2 On’.

Aretha Franklin is back.

As reported, the Queen Of Soul is readying a new album – under the stewardship of Clive Davis – titled ‘Aretha Franklin Sings The Great Diva Classics’.

Set for release on October 21st, the intriguing project sees the legend pay homage to a carefully curated list of classics and has thus far spawned a cover of Adele‘s ‘Rolling In The Deep’. 

Today, though, brings with it another cut from the LP. This time it’s Franklin’s take on Gloria Gaynor‘s classic anthem ‘I Will Survive’, which she has fused with Destiny’s Child‘s mega-smash ‘Survivor’.
