Music lovers are still gagging for Gaga and her latest cinematic music video ‘G.U.Y.’

The latest single lifted from her not-so-well received album ‘ARTPOP’, the song and its accompanying visual – not even 24 hours since its premiere – are being received as a long-awaited return to ‘The Fame’ form for the Grammy-winner (i.e. catchy pop, eye-popping high fashion, killer dance moves, and the absence of a socially conscious message).

With news of its premiere in sight, the diva’s faithful fan group began a bid to push the tune to the top of VEVO’s digital history books by encouraging viewers to repeatedly watch the video to ensure it lands as the digital music channel’s “most watched video in a 24 hour period”.

While the skill she possesses as a lyricist remains undeniable, one could argue that Nicki Minaj‘s ‘visual game’ isn’t half as tight as it should be…for an act of her calibre at least.

Indeed, despite winning on a sales and critical front since her debut, the world is yet to see Minaj birth an era filled to the brim with ‘timeless’ music videos, heading on the right with track with likes of ‘Your Love‘ but steering off course with the quantity over quality approach she took during her ‘Roman Reloaded’ era.

So, one needn’t be surprised at the glee felt by her fans today, when she unveiled snaps pulled from the set of ‘Rise of an Empire‘s ‘Senile’ video, teasing a Chola-themed concept available to peep above, and below!

Four months after its surprise launch, Beyonce‘s self-titled visual album is still dominating on the charts.

Indeed, with more than 3 million units shifted globally already (almost 2 million of which stem from the US alone), the set is on-course to become the superstar’s most successful yet.

Three of the project’s most pronounced talking points are the videos for current single ‘Partition’, Pepsi promotional anthem ‘Grown Woman’, and of course ‘***Flawless’.

The trio, helmed by directorial maestro Jake Nava, receive the behind the scenes treatment in this newly released footage.

As Rihanna keeps him occupied in the European city of Amsterdam, Drake joins Def Jam‘s YG in releasing the video for their bass-bringing banger ‘Who Do You Love.‘

Lifted from his March 18th release ‘My Krazy Life‘, the single’s clip arrives after it peaked at #35 on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs tally, and as Drake‘s ‘Mine’ pal Beyonce saw sales of new single ‘Drunk In Love’ surf to US sales of 1 million units.

After a lackluster start, Shakira and Rihanna‘s new single ‘Can’t Remember To Forget You’ is beginning a steady ascend on the charts following the launch of its music video last week.

The racy clip has already amassed over 20 million views on Youtube, a fact that should grant the song a boost on the Billboard and iTunes tallies  – where it sits at #61 and #28 respectively.

After bidding adieu to long-time manage Troy Carter, Lady GaGa may be readying to announce the name of the next song to be pulled from her latest LP ‘ARTPOP.’

No doubt hoping the jam will reignite the public’s interest in the release, its arrival will follow the launch of the R.Kelly-backed ‘Do What U Want‘, the slow-burning single whose video is set for release in the coming weeks.

Lady GaGa‘s ‘ARTPOP’ campaign has been quite the roller-coaster.

Indeed, the project’s solid material has been juxtaposed against so-so sales, departed managers, and a lack of supporting videos. For the superstar’s millions of Monsters, the latter has been particularly frustrating – as ‘ART’s sole visual is that of lead single ‘Applause’ – which was released last August.

Fret not, though, for the visual draught appears to be over.

During an interview at Donatella Versace‘s fashion show in Paris today, the singer revealed that she is indeed about to shoot a new video.
