Over the last seven years, That Grape Juice has established itself as one of the net’s most renowned sources for Urban Pop music. Indeed, it’s become trademark for us to shine light on artists – both known and on the rise. This week sees us spotlight the latter, as we kick off the first ever Freshly Squeezed Week.
Each day of this week has seen us introduce a talented new name and today sees us conclude with rapper…Shawn “EROCK” Sutton!
Though new on the music scene, the Brooklyn bred talent is no stranger to the spotlight. Indeed, his striking look caught the eye of many a modelling agent – who went on to book him in campaigns for the likes of Givenchy, Ted Baker, and most recently Rihanna‘s River Island clothing line.
What’s more, he’s starred in music videos by both Kelly Rowland (‘Motivation’ and ‘Ice’) and Beyonce (‘Superpower’).
However, standing beside stars has only motivated EROCK to intensify the brightness of his own. As such, he’s pressing on full-fledged with his foray into the world of Hip-Hop.
Odd to some (see: model-turned-MC), rapping is by no means a new phenomena for the lyricist – who’s been rhyming since he was 16-years-old.
