Traci Braxton is the latest of the Braxton clan to shoot for solo stardom with her new single and video ‘Last Call.’  Acting as her first lone endeavor, the song made its debut two months ago to mix review.

Now, in an effort to boost interest in the R&B slow jam, the songstress has unleashed its accompanying visual – the first from her yet-titled solo debut album.

Expect to see a lot of R&B bad boy  Chris Brown in the coming weeks as he prepares for the release of his newest album ‘X.’

Most recently gracing the cover of Billboard magazine, the issue – coming as Brown’s first post-prison interview –  is said to feature some must see quotes about his jail stint, Rihanna, and the host of other scandals that surround the talented singer’s name.

“No one is harder on me than me. No one can please everyone. No one can live in the past and expect to grow. I have been moving forward and hope that I am not defined by just a few moments in my life but all of the moments that will make up my life.”

Ciara is wasting approximately no time piecing together her sixth studio album.

Last month saw the new mother clock in studio time with hitmaker Dr Luke and it appears September sees her continue the trend of working with music’s biggest names. Case in point the snap above.

Tracy Chapman‘s ‘Fast Car’ found a friend in the soulful Pop sensation that is Sam Smith yesterday, who performed the song at BBC Radio 1’s ‘Live Lounge’!

Doing so for host Fearne Cotton, his performance came as part of ‘Even More Music Month’, a scheme launched by the BBC to celebrate live music for 30 consecutive days at their aforementioned ‘Lounge.’
