The talk of the weekend is undoubtedly Kanye West’s new controversial video ‘Famous,’ an ode to artist Vincent Desiderio‘s painting ‘Sleep.’

A concept-heavy video developed as a metaphor for celebrity culture, the visual debuted on Tidal last night and has already caused quite the chatter on social media for its feature of nude wax figures of celebrities Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Bill Cosby, Donald Trump, and many more.

After a tweet-and-delete of West daring any of the stars featured to “sue him already,” Chris Brown shared his opinion on seeing his likeness in the clip.  Tuck in below to see his thoughts:

Kanye West is once again cultivating the controversial.

This time it’s the video for new single ‘Famous,’ lifted from his latest album ‘The Life Of Pablo.’

Live-streamed from an event at The Forum in Los Angeles, the arguably bizarre clip sees Yeezy lay in bed with carbon copies of everyone from Kim Kardashian, to Caitlyn Jenner, to Donald Trump, to Taylor Swift.

The latter is notable because the song (which features Rihanna) is the very cut which caused chaos for its inclusion of the word “bitch” in regard to Swift.

Furore erupted among Whitney Houston fans when news hit that the late legend’s personal and professional effects were being put up for auction – by her own estate.

Everything from gowns to the diva’s passport were being made available to bid on.

The reason offered? To allow supporters to have a little piece of their idol, who died aged just 48 in 2012.

Per a new report, one item now ineligible for purchase will be Houston’s 1986 Emmy Award.

Rihanna‘s ‘ANTI’ era has been strange by most counts.

Launched amidst chaos and calamity, the campaign’s staccato roll-out scored a huge win with the release of ‘Work’ – which topped the US charts for 9 weeks.

And yet still, album sales have been so-so. Streaming has been the LP’s saving grace; routinely adding up to 30k to its 9k weekly sales average by way of  in equivalent sales-plus-streaming units (SPS).

To combat the critics and maintain a Top 40 presence in the absence of any more ‘Work’-sized hits, RiRi has been releasing singles not found on ‘ANTI.’

The first came in the form of Calvin Harris hit ‘This Is What You Came For.’ And now, she looks set to unleash another.
