With new LP ‘Prism’, Pop starlet Katy Perry has cemented herself as a chart force. Thus far the project has spawned two Billboard #1’s – the latest being ‘Dark Horse’, which topped the Hot 100 tally last month.

The feat was particularly impressive as the Juicy J assisted track was without a video at the time.

Smartly (given today’s visual age), Perry isn’t letting the success of the track diminish the need for an accompanying   music video.

Set to premiere on February 19th – the same day the star performs at the BRIT Awards in London, a sneak peek of the cinematic clip was unwrapped moments ago.

Fresh from delivering buzz single ‘Don’t Make Me Wait’ last week, R&B star LeToya Luckett is wasting no time returning to the studio to work on its parent album ‘Until Then’.

Proving she has an ear for what’s hot, the singer-actress has tapped hitmaker Mike Will Made It to work on the project, as well as rapper (and Ciara’s fiance) Future. The 32-year-old shared shots of herself in the studio with the duo on Instagram.

Having loved LeToya’s debut album and enjoyed her second, we’re salivating at the prospect of her third. ‘Don’t Make Me Wait’ was an aptly titled warm-up. Hence, we can’t wait to hear the rest of the heat she’s bringing this go round.

They’re the Pop duo responsible for setting many party alight with their infectious brand of Dance music.

With this in mind, is it any wonder Pitbull and Jennifer Lopez were enlisted to to join this year’s ‘FIFA World Cup’ festivities, signing on to deliver an original song for the sporting event and perform at its opening ceremony on June 12th!

Named ‘We Are One (Ole Ola)’, the Sia-penned cut the pair are set to rock the summer with saw its visual shot in Ft.Lauderdale on Tuesday, as Lopez sharpens her promotional knives in preparation for forthcoming effort ‘Andrenalina‘!

The superstar unwrapped the video for new single ‘You’re Mine (Eternal)’ moments ago.

Premiered on MTV, the clip’s arrival completes an action-packed day for the diva; a day that brought with it the debut of  ‘Mine’ and its accompanying remix featuring Trey Songz.

Enlisting K.Michelle to join him the ‘Blurred Lines Tour’ this month, the chart scorching sensation calls on her ‘sonic sister’ Tamar Braxton to remix his single ‘For The Rest of My Life.’

Launched before the tour’s February 21st kickoff, the reworked version of ‘Life’ gushes from R&B springs as Braxton reportedly begins work on the follow-up to her critically appeasing ‘Love & War‘, which hit stores on September 3rd 2013!

Last month, ‘The Heist’ performer Macklemore made headlines when issued an apology to rival Kendrick Lamar, doing so via a text he later went on to publish here.

What he apologised for? Beating him at the 56th annual Grammy awards, dominating categories many believed would be ‘owned’ by the ‘Poetic’ rapper.

Unfortunately, the pair’s mutual rival Drake hasn’t taken too kindly to the apology, billing it ‘weak’, ‘cheap’ and calculated during a recent interview with Wenner‘s ‘Rolling Stone’ magazine.

If there’s one thing to be learned from Mariah Carey‘s promotional run this morning, it’s that the icon should avoid live interviews…wherever and whenever she can.

For, after being showered with praise and love after the release of new single ‘You’re Mine’,  the star’s entitled and at times irritating personality saw her rain on her parade when she arrived at ‘The Breakfast Club‘ to promote the aforementioned hit.

It was there, seemingly under the influence of alcohol, the star revealed just how ‘out of it’ she really is when quizzed on a number of hot topics…including Beyonce –whom she stresses that she is a fan of- and her smash hit single Drunk in Love.’
