Two nights removed from its explosive airing, the last episode of VH1’s ‘Love & Hip Hop: New York’ finds itself in hot water today, now that one of its cast members has admitted to faking a scene during his time on the show.

Indeed, rather foolishly, cast mate Peter Gunz admitted that he was enlisted by pal Rich Dollaz to join the show with the sole intention of defaming his then girlfriend Erica Mena.

His surprising admission above…

It’s obvious who loves Katy Perry – boyfriend John Mayer…and everyone else.  That is, if the last few months of complete chart slayage are anything to judge by.  For, after landing a blockbuster debut with her latest album ‘Prism’s first single ‘Roar’, the songstress followed it up with two top 20 entries in the form of ‘Dark Horse’ (ft. Juicy J) and current single ‘Unconditionally’.

With the album’s two official releases holding down top 20 positions charts (“Roar” #9, “Unconditionally” #15 as of time reporting), it appears Perry is already readying their successor in the form of ‘Who You Love’ – a duet with Mayer.

The two took to Vanity Fair for an exclusive unveil of the single’s artwork and the photoshoot that accompanied it.  See the pics below:

In recent years, R. Kelly‘s televised appearances have been somewhat of a rare occurrence.

However, with new album ‘Black Panties’ on the horizon (as well as the chart success of Lady  GaGa duet ‘Do What U Want’), the R&B maestro has been uber visible of late.

The Pied Piper’s most recent stop was Jimmy Kimmel Live last night, where he dished on ‘Panties’, new instalments of Trapped In The Closet, and…‘The McDonalds Song’.

Kelly also performed.

Retirement.

In recent years, it’s a topic routinely brought up following most Britney Spears performances; and a topic debated even more so these days following the singer’s lack of promotion for new album ‘Britney Jean’.

Reps for the star’s upcoming Las Vegas residency ‘A Piece Of Me’ claim that the nature of the star’s deal means she is unable to perform anywhere in the US during the show’s two-year run. Not any award show, not a tour. Nothing. Much to the disappointment of fans.

Yet with “disappointment” being the general consensus anytime Spears takes to the stage, even sects of her loyalest supporters believe it best she takes an indefinite break.

Interestingly, the big “r” seems to be on Britney’s mind too. Peep her new interview with Extra’s Mario Lopez after the jump…
