Much to the joy of her faithful lambs, Grammy winning pop diva Mariah Carey brought a slew of Christmas classics to the 81st Annual Rockefeller Christmas Tree Lighting in New York City.

Joining a line-up that featured Toni Braxton, Mary J. Blige, Leona Lewis, Kelly Clarkson, and diva-in-training Ariana Grande, the diva pulled a two-for-two on the NBC-aired program with classics ‘Joy To the World’ and her holiday staple ‘All I Want For Christmas’.

Immediately after, Grande took to the stage to share her rendition of ‘Last Christmas’ and her song ‘Love Is Everything’.  See the sights and sounds of them all below:

It is a Tamar Braxton takeover!

Late 2011 saw R. Kelly announce he would be unveiling over 30 new chapters to his hit “hip-hopera” ‘Trapped In the Closet’.  Now, R&B’s self-proclaimed ‘Pied Piper’ is following up on the promise with reports that he will follow-up 2013’s ‘Chapter 33’ (seen above) with a series of new chapters due 2014.

“…he announced that new chapters of his ongoing hip-hopera “Trapped in the Closet” will come out next year, debuting on the cable channel IFC

statement on IFC’s official site promises “more drama, more crazy situations, more tumultuous relationships, more Sylvester, more Pimp Lucius, more Reverend Mosely, more everything that you love about ‘Trapped in the Closet.'”

As one of R&B’s hardest working women, ‘Don’t Talk About Me’ vocalist Ciara continues to fly the flag for her genre nine years after her ‘Goodies‘ generated debut.
