Kelly Rowland‘s flirtation with EDM in 2010 yielded chart smashes such as ‘Commander’ and ‘When Love Takes Over’. It’s little surprise, then, that the singer re-embraces the sound on her new collaboration with Pitbull.

Christened ‘That High’, the track appears on the dance-floor titan’s latest album ‘Global Warming: Meltdown’ – which hits stores on November 25th.

With the release around the corner, the LP -which also features Ke$ha, Jennifer Lopez, and Mohombi – has officially been made available to stream.

The past weekend saw the opening of ‘The Best Man Holiday’ (Taye Diggs, Morris Chestnut) – the long awaited sequel to the hit film ‘The Best Man’ – wow critics and audiences alike.

Raking in over $30 million for its premiere weekend, the showing at the box office surpassed expectations in a grand way.  So much so, apparently, that Universal Studios is already in talk with the film’s director Malcolm D. Lee to write and direct another installment of the hit romantic comedy.

While the negotiations are just “in talks” right now, word has it the follow-up would be expected much sooner than the 14-year gap between parts 1 and 2 of the film.  No word on if all members of the cast can be expected for the next installment.

Beyond the bevy of global hits he’s written, The-Dream is renowned for serving up many a controversial quote.

However, the star’s candor is equally refreshing when simply sharing his thoughts on the industry he’s come to dominate.

The ‘Gold Digger’ rapper took to ‘Ellen’ today to not only share his much talked about new video ‘Bound 2’, but also gush over his love life with Hollywood socialite Kim Kardashian.

Lending a list of memorable quotes from the sit down (as is common place in any Kanye interview), the hit rapper speaks candidly about his future wife and adorable daughter North with a softness oft-absent from his televised chats.

Good music alert!

That’s right, much like anything she releases, Ariana Grande impresses the world with a brand new number today…a festive number named ‘Last Christmas.’

If it sounds familiar, it’s probably because the cut is a cover of the Wham! classic, marking the first of a series of Christmas jams to be launched by the singer each Tuesday until the big day.
