With a career that’s seen its fair share of comparisons to Michael Jackson and Diana Ross, it seems only fitting pop megastar Beyonce join the highly anticipated revival of ‘The Wiz’…or at least that was the thinking of the good folks over at NBC.

Reports have begun flooding the net the 20 time Grammy winner – no stranger to musicals as evidenced by her critically acclaimed performance in the Academy Award-nominated film ‘Dreamgirls’ and critically shamed performance in ‘Carmen:  A Hip Hopera’ – is joining the live remake of the 1978 classic alongside fellow music royals Mary J. Blige and Queen Latifah.

Over the past year, Rita Ora has been heating up Hollywood with a slew of movie appearances and major endorsements.

As major Pop campaigns go, few can rival the unmitigated mess that has been Rihanna‘s eighth album push.

Pretentious singles have been met with a muted response from the masses, while the project’s one impactful cut ‘Bitch Better Have My Money’ serves as the polar opposite of meaningful material the model mused about making this go round.

Nonetheless, the saga continues.

With murmurs of a Q3/Q4 roll-out, it appears the 27-year-old is pressing ahead with what will be music video number four.
