Boasting a blazing bassline and island sonics, Leigh-Anne serves up a strong contender for Song of the Summer.

Ledisi may have just wrapped the ‘Love You Too Tour‘ in June in support of her last traditional studio effort, ‘The Crown,’ but she’s wasting little time getting back on the road to showcase material from her forthcoming tribute album to Blues and Jazz pioneer Dinah Washington.

“Before there was Aretha, there was Dinah. She deserves to be recognized in today’s music as well,” Ledisi said of the upcoming project due October 3.

Ahead of it release and a supportive tour in accompaniment, the GRAMMY winner has lifted the lid on one of its eight tracks as a lead single: ‘This Bitter Earth.’

A #1 hit on the R&B charts for Washington in 1960, Ledisi is undoubtedly hoping to repeat the feat with her stirring rendition of the timeless classic.

Miley Cyrus‘ latest album, ‘Something Beautiful,’ may be something that didn’t hold on long to the Billboard 200, but that hasn’t stopped the Pop diva from pushing forward in its support.

And while she’s made clear said support will not include taking the LP’s critically acclaimed tracks on the road any time soon, the GRAMMY winner is definitely ok with gifting the cuts the video treatment.

The latest from the visual album to get a full-on visual is ‘Walk of Fame’ featuring Alabama Shakes frontwoman Brittany Howard.

“Every time I walk, it’s a walk of fame (Fascination) /  Yeah, the cars are bright and lighting up my face (Captivation) / Every day, every night it’s all the same (Delusion) / I walk the concrete like it’s a stage,” Cyrus croons.

After ample teasing, Saweetie has finally lifted the lid on her new song ‘Boffum.’

The set will undoubtedly hold her beloved fans (affectionately called #ICYGang) over until official news drops about her long-awaited debut album – ‘Pretty B-tch Music‘ – which she previously promised would drop in 2025.
