The last year has seen Justin Bieber on a one-man crusade to assert his “swaggy”. However, much like his efforts to make that word happen, it’s all fallen pancake flat.

Still, the boy tries and oh so hard. His latest effort? New track ‘The Intro’, which surfaced today on a DJ Tay mixtape.

A “street cut” of sorts, the track sounds designed to bridge the gap between the singer’s teen pin-up image and the bad boy persona he’s peddling these days.

Unfortunately for the 19-year-old, the resulting song is the muckiest of messes. See what we mean below…

Cop a gander at the trend setters that are Rihanna and Miguel, placed side by side at last night’s ‘Opening Ceremony‘ New York Fashion week outing.

Later joined by ‘I Would’ sensation Justin Bieber, the glowing pair were perched in the front row enjoying all the show had to offer, nights after Rihanna partied with Nicki Minaj here, and before Miguel joins Drake and ‘Honest’ performer Future on the ‘Would You Like A Tour?‘.

Love or loathe Miley Cyrus, one thing is certain – you have an opinion on her. Well, at least, most do.

Once an innocent teen queen, the former Hannah Montana star is in the midst of an adult re-branding that has split opinion in the most potent of ways.

For some, the 20-year old’s twerking and scantily clad antics are nothing more than a youngster having fun; while, for others, they represent a talent-challenged star craving attention. Add to this the race debate generated by the singer’s overt embrace of “Urban” and it’s safe to say dissertations will be written about the Miley madness.

An upbeat Nicki Minaj showed up and shout at New York Fashion Week two nights ago, arriving at the Alexander Wang‘s showing’s after party to perform at the star studded event.

With Rihanna in the audience, the star rocked the stage with renditions of her more recognisable material and dance moves the designer himself seemed to take a liking to, as seen in one of the snaps below.

Marking one of her first US performances since the end of her sold out world tour, this set came as her well loved ‘Va Va Voom’ continues on its bid to become one of the Rapper’s greatest sleeper hits, with its global sales now swimming towards the 1.5 million unit milestone.

While it”s a tough pill for many a British Urban tastemaker to swallow, the nation”s Urban scene fetish for the “basic” has left many of its staples drowning in a sea of occasional hit singles but tear jerkingly poor album sales.

So, it”s no wonder that so many have welcomed the recently formed Dora Martin with opens arms and ears this year, celebrating the duo for a brand of British R&B that screams high end on all fronts.
