Released last November, Christina Aguilera‘s latest LP ‘Lotus’ and its under-performance remain one of Pop’s biggest injustices.
While mystery surrounds the bizarre roll-out (or lack thereof of the ‘Your Body’ led set), it’s clear Xtina is moving on to happier and healthier terrain.
And so as to thank the fans that have stuck by her, The Voice star has honored one of their near-year-long requests – to release (or, at least, acknowledge) the ball of fire that is ‘Let There Be Love’.
Produced by Pop maestro Max Martin, the cut was hailed by many as one of the best offerings on the ‘Lotus’ opus and a sure-fire single. As history would have it, the track joins potential smashes such as ‘WooHoo’ and ‘Bionic’ (the song) on the list of unreleased Aguilera gems that could have blazed Billboard and beyond.
