After successfully using the platform to elevate her profile and reap many a reward from that profile, K.Michelle parted ways with VH1’s ‘Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’ this year, weeks before the release of her latest LP ‘Rebellious Soul‘.

A move that will see her join ‘Love & Hip Hop New York’ later on this year, her decision to do so was explained during an interview with VLAD TV recently, when she was quizzed on the matter by the Urban outlet.

Britney Spears has done it again!

That’s right, before the release of her hotly anticipated eighth studio album, today has welcomed the arrival of its lead single ‘Work B*tch‘.

Is it any good? Well, after spinning it six or seven times, we’re calling this one a grower, even though we hope the rest of her LP sees her take on deeper subject matter, and a more ‘honest’ vocal.

The latest season of The X Factor UK continued in fine form tonight. Unsurprisingly, with this being the audition phase, the talented and talent-challenged came out in equal measure for a crack at progressing to the next stage. Judging the hopefuls are  Gary Barlow, Nicole Scherzinger,  Louis Walsh, and returning panelist Sharon Osbourne.

{An international phenomenon, local versions show now air in the US, Italy, France and beyond. The brain-child of Simon Cowell, the show is responsible for birthing the careers of Leona Lewis, Alexandra Burke, Cher Lloyd and JLS.}.
Now on a two-night-a-week airing format (Saturday – Audition Room / Sunday – Arena Audition For Those Who Go Through), the best and worst of week’s hopefuls (audition room) await below.

It’s ironic, if not unfortunate, that Brand Smith has turned the corner that it has.

For, while Will Smith has seen his career go from strength to strength on the back of his talent, genuine nature and ‘salt of the earth kinda guy’ positioning, the arrival of his children in the public eye have seen those admirable qualities overshadowed by ill advised attempts to turn them into household names.

While this haven’t taken away from the public’s love for ‘Big Willy‘, it’s clear that his ‘grounded’ persona doesn’t fall in line with that of his family’s…who seem anything but.
