Britney Spears has done it again!
That’s right, before the release of her hotly anticipated eighth studio album, today has welcomed the arrival of its lead single ‘Work B*tch‘.
Is it any good? Well, after spinning it six or seven times, we’re calling this one a grower, even though we hope the rest of her LP sees her take on deeper subject matter, and a more ‘honest’ vocal.

Though it isn’t what we were expecting, it isn’t hard to understand why ‘Work‘ will be the hit Britney needs to push album #8.
Sure, while it won’t earn her many critical points, it does tick many of the same boxes that took ‘Scream‘ to Triple Platinum status, even though an act of Britney’s caliber should be above recording songs that are simply ‘hot’.
For, this is a hot song, but lacks the personality that could have made it a great Britney song, which is why we’re hoping talk of a more personal LP wasn’t just that…talk.
In saying that, we do love it and hope its video is just as exciting- packed with the choreography its production calls for!
