Michelle Williams is back!

Fresh from wrapping up an impressive stint on ‘Fela’ the musical, the Destiny’s Child diva has announced the first single from her upcoming Gospel album.

Christened ‘If We Had Your Eyes’, the track (which is hits iTunes on June 24th) is the first traditional Williams material since 2008’s ‘Unexpected’.

As to keep momentum for the era burning bright, Brandy continued to push her new LP ‘Two/Eleven’ with a performance in Nashville recently, following the success of her Japanese stage outing months ago.

While there, she wowed fans with a tribute to ‘I’m Your Baby Tonight’ singer Whitney Houston and rocked her sold out spot with a medley of jams pulled from the aforementioned ‘Two’, now available for your viewing pleasure below!

As her best pal Jason Derulo continues the push for his new single ‘The Other Side‘, Jordin Sparks touched down in NYC to party at the Songwriters Hall of Fame Induction and Awards Dinner!

Looking on as Benny Blanco picked up the Hal David award for his contributions to the world of Pop (see ‘Diamonds’), Jordin arrived at the star studded event as she continues work on her forthcoming album, reportedly enlisting ‘Bijoux 22′ star Elijah Blake to craft jams for the piece.

Leona Lewis was on hand to support Justin Timberlake hours ago, when she arrived at the party thrown in honor of Myspace’s relaunch.

Thrown after the ‘Losing My Way’ star signed onto serve as the company’s creative director and one of its many investors, the party took place at the EL Rey Theatre, LA where Lewis has been stationed as of late.

Reportedly in town on the hunt for new material, Leona’s arrival at the party came two years after Justin and The Vanderhooks bought the social network for $35 million dollars- in a bid to recapture the audience it lost to Mark Zuckerberg‘s Facebook and Jack Dorsey‘s Twitter…which boasted forecasted revenues of $110 million in the same year.

Is the 5th time the charm?  14 time Grammy winner Alicia Keys is probably hoping so with ‘Tears Always Win’ –  the official fifth single lifted from her fifth LP ‘Girl On Fire’.

Taking time from her hotly selling ‘Set the World On Fire’ tour, Keys unveils a Vegas themed visual to accompany the ballad.  But, while the Bruno Mars co-penned tune has long been a critic and fan favorite, its seen a very slow start on charts – making its first impact this month.

Released in 1990, Whitney Houston’s ‘I’m Your Baby Tonight’ became one of the icon’s most renown Pop efforts in the years that followed, but inevitably found itself dwarfed by the ballads that she’s undoubtedly more celebrated for.

Now, in introducing the LA Reid & Baby Face produced jam to her audience, Brandy has made it a staple in her shows following the release of 2012’s ‘Two Eleven’.

As all would agree, to say she does it justice would be an understatement.

All too often, the phrase “comeback” is thrown around like clothes in a tumble dryer. However, for Fantasia, new album ‘Side Effects of You’ not only embodies the term, it expands on it. For, beyond its solid opening week numbers and current hit ‘Without Me’, the entire campaign has represented a very visible turn around in the star’s life.
