Before this week, Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston sat tied in Hot 100 record books for having the longest-reigning unaccompanied #1 hits in the hitlist’s 66-year history (among all artists of color).
That changed on Monday (October 14), however, when Billboard revealed Shaboozey‘s ‘A Bar Song (Tipsy)’ – already 2024’s longest-running chart-topper – has moved up the historical ladder after logging yet another frame in the chart’s champion seat.
