While the masses are getting their first taste of Mario‘s triumphant, Nicki Minaj-enlisted return ‘Somebody Else’, the Polow Da Don-produced tune was reportedly up for serve first by fellow crooner Chris Brown.

Brown, who is in promo mode to prep the release of his highly anticipated ‘X’ album, can be heard pulling double duty over the heartbreaking number – singing and rapping to tell the story of love gone awry.

Does the ‘Run It’ beau run this one better or does Mario do it most justice?  Listen below and you decide:

Another year, another judging line-up for Simon Cowell’s X Faxtor UK.

On this occasion, though, we’re all for the latest batch of bottoms who’ll sit at the famed judges table.

Pop diva Nicole Scherzinger leads this year’s panel, which features a returning Gary Barlow and Louis Walsh. TV maven Sharon Osbourne makes a sensational comeback to the show leaving in 2007. The Osbourne matriarch replaces an axed Tulisa, who is having a few issues of her own at the moment. Sniff sniff.

The quad begun shooting the audition phase of the show, which is in its tenth season, today. Look out for The X Factor UK when it returns to screens later this Summer.

Randomness: After a wildly successful run on the show last year, we hope Nicole manages to leverage the exposure against her musical endeavours. The way each year seems to be a case of musical chairs, it’s best that she “get’s it while it hot”.

Your thoughts?

When she gets it right….she really gets it right.

Of course, while eight years in the game should have seen her hit a 10 and stay on it at all times, there’s no denying that Rihanna performances are a joy to watch when well executed.

Need an example?

Check out the footage pulled from her show at France’s Montpellier hours ago, which saw her give fans their money’s worth when she performed her #1 single ‘Diamonds‘!
