‘Party Up’ performer DMX was not in a festive mood after viewing his highly anticipated episode of ‘Iyanla: Fix My Life’ last week on Oprah Winfrey‘s network OWN.

In fact, the former hit rapper was so displeased that he is threatening legal action against Winfrey and co., claiming he was deliberately shown in a negative light.  Yes, X (as he is affectionately known) has had his fair share of run-ins with the law and a number of drug rehabilitation centers over the past decade.  But, according to sources, the rapper was due to chat with Vanzant about his addiction to sex, not drugs (as the episode displays).

He reportedly told TMZ:

“Iyanla set the whole thing up to make me look bad for ratings.” “That lady is toxic … My last words to her were that she can suck my d**k and she still can.”

With fresh year comes fresh goals; and for Mary Mary star Erica Campbell “solo success” is one of hers.

Still going strong with sister Tina as part of the Grammy winning duo, Erica is stepping out alone for a solo side-project — the first single of which receives its exclusive online premiere on That Grape Juice.

Titled ‘A Little More Jesus’, the funky cut sees Campbell once again remind that Gospel needn’t be tedious nor tiresome. Instead, the track is full of flavour and fuses the best aspects of the genre with a contemporary kick.

Fans fearing a break-up should fret not. Reliable sources (as well as Campbell herself) confirm that Mary Mary are still very much a unit and are presently shooting season 3 of their hit WE tv reality show.

Enjoying time away from the stage as she recovers an operation to repair a labral tear in her hip, the ‘Starstruck’ philanthropist was spotted as she continues crafting her long awaited new album, ‘ARTPOP’, alongside Grammy award winning producer DJ White Shadow.
