It’s been a tricky few years for songbird Leona Lewis. Hailed as the second coming of Mariah Carey (with mammoth like success to match), the singer seemed poised for global superstardom.

Yet, a mishandled sophomore album and an incredibly mis-judged third album have left the Londoner in quite the precarious position.

And while not vocalizing the usual “artist done wrong” narrative that so many in her position employ, The X Factor alum is letting her actions do the talking instead.

Celebrities were feeling the love this week and were lending covers to their favorite love songs left and right and two of the most talked about came from actor/heartthrob Vin Diesel & Grammy-nominated diva Tamia.

Diesel, best known for the ‘Fast & the Furious’ franchise, showed a softer side when he delivered an interesting rendition of Rihanna‘s latest hit ‘Stay’.  Performing with the tune’s recently released video playing  in the background, the showing (needless to say) definitely proves where the muscle man’s strengths truly lie.  See what we mean below:

Barely a month has passed since the last heated tweet beef between femcee Azealia Banks and media maven Perez Hilton cooled.

But, if recent fiery comments made by Banks are anything to go by, the heat is still very much on.  For, after engaging in a verbal battle with Baauer (the creator of the revamped ‘Harlem Shake’ movement), the ‘Van Vogue’ vixen shook things up when she referenced the new hitmaker with gay slurs.

Roc Nation star Rita Ora got all sorts of ‘Radioactive’ on ‘The Graham Norton Show’ tonight.

Taking a brief break from her sell-out UK tour, the 22 year old turned in a rousing performance of the song, which likely serves as the last cut to be lifted from her debut album ‘Ora’ – a project which has, to date, spawned three British #1’s.

Get all the way into this snap of Pop icon Beyonce and her one year old daughter Blue Ivy Carter, photographed together as part of B’s forthcoming ‘Life Is But A Dream’ documentary which airs tomorrow night on HBO.

Almost identical to both her mother and father, Ms. Ivy’s appearance in the snap marks the first time her full face has been seen since her birth last year, and comes after her mother spoke to Vogue on the bond they share and how her birth has reshaped her world view.

Chris Brown takes his fans on a personal journey tonight, pulling them into his world with the moving video, ‘Home‘.

Made up of footage shot of the ‘Run It’ vocalist during his travels across the globe, the clip sheds a much needed light on the brighter side to his cause, via scenes pulled from his latest world tour, parties and alone time.

We’ve given it about five or six spins and have fallen in love with it.

Now, as we join those fans in eager anticipation, the starlet arrived at BBC Radio 1’s ‘Live Lounge‘ for an intimate performance, which saw her cover the Mumford & Sons classic, ‘Lover Of The Light‘.

Shedding all kinds of light on her rich tone and lighthearted personality, her cover of the cut has us hoping her new LP gives fans mid-tempos similar to this one, almost as strong as her cover of Frank Ocean‘s ‘Swim Good’.
