Latto has made her ‘Sugar Honey Iced Tea‘ era that much sweeter by finally gifting fan favorite track ‘Brokey‘ the video treatment.

Enjoying notoriety from an ongoing Tik Tok trend that sees users upload clips of themselves mouthing the lyrics at their places of employment, the social media buzz around the tune only amplified anticipation for its accompanying visual.

The answer to the demand came with the Laura Marciano-directed video’s premiere on Friday (October 11).

“When a real one hold you down, bae, you supposed to drown / You ain’t never f-ck with no boss b-tch, I turned you out (Turned you out) / You won’t catch me in no Shark boots, y’all burnt ’em out (Burnt ’em out) / B-tches gotta wait till they birthday to go out of town,” she raps aboard COUPE production.

One of many Latto bops fans can expect to see get the live treatment aboard the ‘Sugar Honey Iced Tea Tour‘ when it kicks off at the end of October, hop inside to get reacquainted with ‘Brokey.’

Nelly dominated more than just the 00s music landscape; he left a major mark on fashion too by way of his Apple Bottom Jeans line.

The denim range was inescapable upon its launch in 2003, flying off shelves in major department stores and serving as a firm fixture in pop culture. Case in point the many songs it was referenced in such as Flo Rida‘s smash ‘Low.’

Its final campaign was in 2010.

However, Nelly has hinted that a comeback was nigh.

The embattled hitmaker, currently serving a 30-year sentence for sex trafficking concurrent to a 20-year prison sentence for enticement of minors for sex, is the subject of public scrutiny again for similar allegations.

After swimming to critical acclaim in ‘The Little Mermaid’ and ‘Color Purple,’ GRAMMY-nominated songstress Halle Bailey continues to build her movie resume – the latest venture being a leading role in the suspense thriller ‘The Line.’

Also starring the late Angus Cloud, Austin Abrams, Alex Wolff, Lewis Pullman, Scoot McNairy, Denise Richards, John Malkovich, and more, the film is described as “a campus thriller that plunges into the dangerous world of college fraternities and blind adherence to tradition.”

Directed by Ethan Berger, ‘Line’ is slated to march to select theaters on October 18 before expanding nationwide on October 23.

‘The Six Triple Eight’ storms onto Netflix this December.

Written and directed by Tyler Perry, the eagerly anticipated film stars Kerry Washington as Major Charity Adams, the commanding officer of the 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion.

Inspired by the first and only Women’s Army Corps unit of color to serve overseas in WWII, the movie has long been buzzed about since its announcement. It’s based on the article by Kevin M. Hymel and centers on the overcoming of racism, sexism, and unthinkable working conditions.

Washington leads a stellar cast that includes Ebony Obsidian, Milauna Jackson, Kylie Jefferson, Shanice Shantay, Sarah Jeffery, Pepi Sonuga, Moriah Brown, Jeanté Godlock, Susan Sarandon, Dean Norris, Sam Waterston, and Oprah Winfrey.

‘The Six Triple Eight’ features an original song written by Diane Warren and performed by H.E.R.

With a limited theatrical run commencing December 6, the film arrives on Netflix on December 20.
