The ‘Your Body’ beauty beams on the industry bible’s latest issue, which features the first preview of the her hotly anticipated ‘Lotus’ LP ahead of its arrival on November 13th.

With a strap-line of “The Resurrection”, we’re oh so amped for the album write-up, as all signs point to Xtina being onto yet another winner. Let the rise of Pop’s Lazarus begin!

For, despite minimal Stateside promotion for her fourth solo LP ‘4’, singer Beyonce has seen it continually nab top spots on multiple Billboard charts.

One of the record’s later singles, ‘Dance For You’, has seemingly strutted atop charts months after its initial release.  The achievement lands Bey’s name new reason (joining the many existing) to line the history books:

May marked the return of Beyonce to the stage following the birth of her daughter Blue Ivy at the top of the year. However, fans hopeful to see more of the superstar thereafter were left somewhat disappointed when she returned to the normality of her day-to-day life. Indeed, the nearest her ever-loyal BeyHive got to a King B performance was her moshing in the pit of many a festival this  Summer gone

That’s all set to change come November, however. For, it has been announced that the ‘Crazy In Love’ singer will hit the stage at Alicia Keys‘ annual Black Ball gala.

Much to fan delight, ‘Work It’ rapstress Missy Elliott is definitely back hard at work promoting her latest gems ‘9th Inning’ and ‘Triple Threat’.

Already guesting BET’s ‘106 & Park’, the Virginian femcee made her way over to MTV to visit ‘RapFix’ to share the good news of her return.

As ever, despite being plagued with questions on the Drake/Aaliyah debacle, Elliott was also greeted with her thoughts on the ever-hyped beef between fellow femcees Nicki Minaj and Lil’ Kim.  While one who has career-long evaded beef, the ‘Hot Boys’ hitmaker has always been one to speak her mind.

Upon her debut in 2008, Lady GaGa was sold to the world as the protegee of ‘Lonely’ singer Akon.

Almost inseparable during the Canadian leg of ‘The Fame’s promo, the pair hit many an outlet declaring their creative love for each other.

Then, in what was all too obvious to her rising fan base, he disappeared from her cause- only rearing his head two years later  to weigh in on her ‘war of wigs’ with Christina Aguilera.

Now, GaGa‘s long time friend Tamar Braxton (whose husband discovered the singer) has revealed the sinister reason behind Akon‘s ‘exit’ from her camp, during an interview with ‘The Breakfast Club‘.

The premiere season of The X Factor USA brought with it many a twist and turn, as well as a wealth of new talent – one of the most notable being Marcus Canty.

After finishing fourth on the show, the 21 year old was swiftly signed up by mentor LA Reid to join his revitalised Epic Records roster.

The fruit of that union has been R&B bliss, with both of Canty’s singles ‘Won’t Make A Fool Out Of You’ and ‘In & Out’ drumming up ample buzz.

With the Washington DC native hard at work on his debut EP ‘This Is..Marcus Canty’ (due October 30th), we quizzed him on his background, ditching basketball for music, whether  he has any fears coming from a talent show, and much more.

CALLING UK MJ FANS – WIN AN MJ POSTER SIGNED BY SPIKE LEE

This week sees the release of ‘BAD 25’ from the legendary King of Pop Michael Jackson, celebrating the 25th birthday of the historic album and the launch of a very exclusive competition for MJ’s UK fans.

TGJ went to see Spike Lee’s documentary ‘BAD 25’ recently and picked up a poster screen signed by Spike to ‘Numero Uno MJ Fan in the UK’ and now we’re offering one lucky reader the chance to win it!

To test fans knowledge, we’ll be asking a question each day this week and then on Friday you’ll be able to figure out the final question and enter the competition.
