Not even a week after making digital sales history with her thunderous #2 debut of new single ‘Roar’ – the first single from new October 22-due album ‘Prism’, pop princess Katy Perry keeps the momentum going with news of its follow-up.

Taking to Twitter to encourage fan vote, the contest – sponsored by Pepsi and MTV – will see the winning track revealed moments before Perry takes the stage at tomorrow night’s ‘MTV Video Music Awards’ and subsequently released on September 17th!

Packing a very radio-friendly voice, Chanel conveyed the song’s sass in a way that seemed authentic and devoid of caricature.  While a few noticeable misfired runs and notes, overall the presentation was pleasant and provided indication that with fine tuning Chanel could shine with the new school of R&B chanteuses.

Yesterday, as part of its season 1 finale, Kris Jenner‘s hit show ‘Kris’ made a fresh bid for ratings glory when it invited Rapper Kanye West for a lengthy conversation with the Reality TV royal.

Unfortunately, as you’ll see below, their conversation was anything but…merely an ill advised commercial for Brand Kardashian, trying but failing shine an authentic light on their inauthentic cause.

She’s back!

Indeed, Tiffany Pollard – better known as New York for fans of VH1 reality television shows ‘Flavor of Love’ and its spin-off ‘I Love New York’ – is making her way back to a screen near you with the recently unveiled ‘Ratchet Queens’.

Blasting news of the new show to Instagram earlier this week, the announcement comes just months after Pollard’s scripted return to television aboard the cast of LOGO’s ‘DTLA’.

While no updates accompanied the announcement on its premiere date or network, we can say with all guilt and shame that we look forward to the antics of the self-proclaimed ‘ratchet queen’ and can only hope her mother Sister Patterson will make frequent guest appearances.
