With new single ‘Roar’ doing just that on charts the world over, Katy Perry builds on her buzz by revealing the artwork for its parent album – ‘Prism’.

The colorful cover was unveiled moments ago on Good Morning America and – like Perry – is sure to set tongues wagging. It’s not rocking our world (and neither did ‘Roar’), yet given the wealth of momentum the project has already, we doubt it’ll stop the LP from blazing the Billboard charts when it arrives on October 22nd.

His career may have stalled in recent years, but Papoose proves his stock as a lyricist is just as high as it ever was with ‘First Chain‘, the diss track aimed at Hip Hop favourite Big Sean.

Why?

Well, when quizzed on Pap’s response to the controversial ‘Control’ during an appearance on hit show ‘The Breakfast Club‘, Sean responded with ‘who?’, teasing the Rapper’s supposed irrelevancy.

Now, the ‘Thug Connection’ MC is fighting back with lyrics aimed at Sean and his mentor Kanye West!

Emeli Sande answers many a prayer today, by releasing the video for her moving single ‘My Kind of Love‘.

Directed by Sanji Senaka, the clip comes courtesy of her debut solo era ‘Our Version of Events’ , whose sales now surpass the 1.3 million mark in the UK alone.

Is the video as moving as its single? Unfortunately, the answer to that question is no, but still stands as one of our favourite clips to drop this year- telling a story we can only describe as being thought provoking.

Christopher LaTouche and JayOhh put their creative skills to work for Cassie Ventura this time around, directing the video for her ‘RockaByeBaby‘ lifted number, ‘I Know What You Want’.

Lacking the choreography the clip need to truly pop, the video does make for an interesting watch but only by way of Cassie‘s aesthetic and aesthetic alone, void of the ‘wow factor’ her photo shoots (see ‘Blank’ spread) often possess.
