The road to ‘Utopia‘ hasn’t been easy for Travis Scott, but the overwhelmingly positive response to the July 28-released album suggests it was worth the wait.
It’s been 3 years since SZA made headlines for disagreeing with fans that she is the modern-day “Queen of R&B,” but the ongoing stats of her blockbuster sophomore album – ‘SOS‘ – has certainly put her in conversation with the genre’s royalty.
In addition to seeing the LP’s stay atop the Billboard 200 tie multiple records of powerhouse vocalists Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey, the Hot 100 triumphs of the set’s singles ‘Snooze’ and ‘Kill Bill’ have also kept the competition at bay to historic measure (as we reported here).

After turning heads with her critically acclaimed flip of Lil Wayne‘s classic ‘A Milli,’ Alabama-reared rapstress Flo Milli serves up a sweet taste of new original music with the delectable single, ‘Fruit Loop.’
“I like sh-tting on bitches like this / All my life, I had lame hoes pissed / Bad ass b-tch, if I leave, he gon’ miss it / You like chasing d-ck, see with me, it’s a difference,” she raps on the Young Fyre-produced cut.

Barely a year after releasing his fourth studio album, the chart-topping ‘Twelve Carat Toothache,’ rapper-singer Post Malone (born Austin Post) has lifted the lid on its follow-up: ‘Austin.’
Released Friday (July 28), the eponymous effort – co-produced by Louis Bell and Andrew Watt – boasts no features across its 17 tracks.
Preceded to Billboard 200 battle by the singles ‘Chemical,’ ‘Mourning,’ and ‘Overdrive,’ ‘Austin’ comes as Post’s first LP to lack a Billboard Hot 100 top 10 hit (as of time reported) and have a noted lack of buzz compared to its predecessors.
Will that have an impact on the set’s first-week sales? Time will tell. Until then, stream the new project inside courtesy of Apple Music and Spotify.
