Fresh from scoring a Grammy nomination for debut single ‘I Want You’, Soulful crooner Luke James has unwrapped the video for his latest release ‘Make Love To Me’.

Helmed by Beyonce’s creative director, Frank Gatson, the retrospective clip gives a nod to African-American artist Ernie Barnes’ ‘Sugar Shack’ painting and features cameos from many of James’ high-profile supporters – including Kelly Rowland, En Vogue‘s Terry Ellis, and Stacey Barthe.

The stars aligned in Atlanta, Georgia last night, arriving in style to celebrate the 30th birthday of Urban Pop Princess Keri Hilson.

Partying with her parents, Wale, B.O.B and Dania Ramirez to name just three, the Southern belle spent the bulk of her night at Club Vanquish, days before her hotly anticipated set at the 2012 ‘VH1 Divas’ outing which will also welcome the likes of Melanie Fiona, Ciara and ‘Wish Your Love Away’ singer Brandy.

It may be hard to believe, but seven years have passed since the arrival of Island belle Rihanna, storming the charts with her debut single ‘Pon De Replay’– released May 4th 2005.

Fast forward to today and she’s Pop’s most consistent staple, well on her way to matching commercial feats scored by many of the acts she herself grew up listening.

Now, in honor of her unique rise to fame, the star has shared a picture of herself, taken on the day she auditioned for the man who would introduce her to future boss’ Jay Z and Jay Brown, Evan Rogers.

The ‘One Woman Army’ took centre-stage on the Jimmy Kimmel Live stage recently to support her album of the same name, as well as new singles ‘Sorry’ and ‘Got Me Good’. The former aired live on the show earlier this Fall, however the HQ/TV take on ‘Got Me’ has finally been unwrapped for your viewing pleasure.

Unfortunately for fans and paparazzi at LA’s LAX Airport yesterday, she didn’t- making her way through the spot sans that smile but giving a spot of promo for ‘Adidas’, by way of her casual fit.

Still fresh from topping the Billboard 200 with new album ‘Girl On Fire‘, Alicia Keys hit NYC to host her annual ‘Keep A Child Alive’ ball.

Held at the Apollo Theatre, the charitable event comes in aid of the  foundation which holds the same name, founded to provide AIDS care for children and families affected by the disease across Africa.

Raising $1.3 million last night alone, the event saw many a star walk through its doors, including Gayle King and Chanel Iman.

As previous reports indicated, Tamar Braxton has stormed charts with her new single ‘Love & War’ – battling her way to the top of Itunes charts on both sides of the pond.

Now, in news certain to delight #Tamartians, the songstress is now #1 on the chart ranking.  A feat which sees her knock out ‘Locked Out of Heaven’ hitmaker Bruno Mars from the top spot as well as occupy the tally’s top seat with a pure R&B tune – an extreme rarity.

It’s clear now that SHE is not playing around.  And, if her live performance from tonight’s episode of ‘Tamar & Vince’ is anything to judge by, the competition should start getting worried now…

As reported here, Melanie Amaro, winner of X Factor USA Season 1, took to her musical alma mater to unveil her long-awaited debut single ‘Long Distance’.  Lifted from her ‘Epic’ debut ‘Truly‘, Amaro truly showed fans why she was voted the show’s inaugural winner.

Also hitting the stage was autotune queen Ke$ha who lent a live rendition of ‘C’Mon’, the successor to hit ‘Die Young’ from her sophomore album ‘Warrior’.  See the ladies at work below:
