In many a way, 2011 has been a breakout year of sorts for a certain Kelly Rowland. Indeed the last few months for the singer have been characterised by single and radio success, as well as a critical and public favour for her role on The X Factor UK.
However, in smartly taking a leaf out of Monica‘s book, it seems the 30 year old realises that true success in today’s climate comes from grinding to no end – even if that means opening for a newer act.
As such, the Destiny’s Child alumni took centre-stage at Chris Brown’s ‘F.A.M.E Tour’ opening in Toronto last night. And backed by 8 scantily clad dancers, rocked the house with some of her most noted hits, including ‘Motivation’.
