MTV News caught up with famed DJ/super-producer David Guetta shortly after his show-stopping performance on ‘America’s Got Talent’ earlier this week.  And though the ‘When Love Takes Over’ hitmaker took time to dish on his latest project ‘Nothing But the Beat’ (Augusut 29th), which features an all star list of collaborators (Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown, Flo’ Rida), he spoke most proudly of Jennifer Hudson and Usher‘s contribution to the record.

The R&B singers contributed “Night of Your Life” and “Without U” respectively, with Guetta citing the latter as ‘the biggest record’ on the album.  Find out what other praises the producer showered on the singers after the jump:

‘Rolling In the Deep’ songstress Adele is still rolling out the hits from her latest blockbuster album ’21’.  No stranger to a growing number of accolades and achievements, the British beauty adds one more to the list as her latest single, ‘Someone Like You’, is now #1 on the US Billboard Hot 100.

Billboard reports:

Adele‘s stark ballad “Someone Like You” bounds to the top of the Billboard Hot 100, vaulting 19-1 with dual Digital and Airplay Gainer honors.

“Like” leaps 11-1 on Digital Songs with 275,000 downloads sold (up 191%), according to Nielsen SoundScan. On Radio Songs, the track blasts 42-19 with 46 million all-format audience impressions (up 59%), according to Nielsen BDS.

In addition to ‘Someone Like You’ dethroning ‘Moves Like Jagger’, the song’s parent album, ’21’, moved an additional 154k units this week (securing the #3 spot) and raised its overall tally to 3.3 million after just 28 weeks!  Looks like it’s the Adele reign that just won’t let up.
