As the release of Lady GaGa‘s ‘Born This Way’ album draws nearer, the singer and her team have cranked their promotional efforts into overdrive. She is everywhere!

E! News were the latest to speak with the Pop eccentric, who spoke candidly on many a topic including the ‘Judas‘ video, her family, her fans, her fashion, future plans and much more. At 27 minutes, very few stones were left unturned.

Cheryl Cole‘s promotional shots for X Factor USA have been released just one day after her role as a judge on the show was confirmed.

The announcement ended months of speculation surrounding her involvement in the talent-search, which will also star Simon Cowell and LA Reid.

Like an empty vase, Ms. Cole is undeniably easy on the eyes,  but unfortunately lacking in content.

Whilst she has achieved mass popularity in the United Kingdom over the last decade, the question of her vocal ability and artistic credibility will only be rehashed when she is compared to more able British singers who have also made a name across the pond.

Let’s also hope the US press stay away from the controversy she faced less than six years ago, when she was accused of racially and physically assaulting a black nightclub attendant who claimed the starlet called her a ‘black jigaboo’.

Any, the pics…

Want to see Lady GaGa‘s bits? The singer sure thinks you do. Living up to her eccentric billing, the ‘Judas’ singer  turned heads as she arrived at the press conference for her ‘Monster Ball Tour’ in Mexico today.

Having taken the live extravaganza across the globe multiple times(210 shows to be exact), the Pop force wraps up the tour tonight. According to Billboard, once the curtain falls, the trek will have amassed $227.4 Million, securing a place among the top 10 highest grossing tours of all time.

More power to her!

Another day, another Teairra Mari mixtape.

While the R&B vixen continues work on her Warner Records debut, she aims to keep her name in the mix by teaming up with DJ Scream for ‘Now or Never’. The free set, due May 30th, is the former Princess of the Roc’s third in under a year.

Really, though; who at this point actually cares anymore? Like, really? After all, there’s grinding, and then there’s just not having one’s ish together. Luckily for Mari, she’s beginning to do the latter, recently locking in studio time with hitmaker Rico Love.

Either way, she seems to have nine lives. Here’s hoping she uses the latest better than her last. All that skin-baring and T&A wasn’t necessary. For, unlike many of her contemporaries she actually has talent.

Lady Gaga sat down with E! News this week to explain the concept behind her controversial new video ‘Judas’.

The clip, as like many of the singer’s offerings, was labelled confusing and unclear by some. Yet in typically ‘out there’  fashion, the 25 year old readily breaks down the visual’s message.

Rihanna channelled her inner-Ariel at Nivea’s 100th Anniversary celebration in Paris this afternoon.

Noticeably more demure, the aspiring singer will swap the floor length get-up for her trademark scantness when she launches her ‘Loud Tour’ next month.

Who?

That will, no doubt, be the question on the lips of many at the mention of Nicola Roberts. However, as many of our UK readers will know, the 25 year old is no stranger to the spotlight.

Indeed the red-head has spent the better part of 10 years sharing the spotlight with new X Factor USA judge Cheryl Cole, as part of  successful British group Girl Aloud.

Now, following in footsteps of Cole and the band’s lead singer Nadine Coyle, Roberts is stepping out on her own with the help of an all-star cast of producers. The most notable being Diplo.

Responsible for Beyonce‘s ‘Run The World’, the hitmaker has crafted Roberts’ debut effort ‘Beat of My Drum’ – the lead release from her forthcoming LP ‘Cinderella’s Eyes’. The quirky cut arrives at digital outlets on June 5th via Polydor /Universal Music.

Can “the quiet one” strike it lucky on her own? Time will most certainly tell.

In the meanwhile, check out a teaser video for the single (which plays in the background) below…

Pop star Jennifer Lopez swapped the judging panel for the stage tonight when she performed on ‘American Idol‘.

Lopez, 41, wowed with an electrifying debut performance of her global smash ‘On The Floor’. It’s hoped the high-profile slot will give a much needed boast to the singer’s ‘LOVE?’ LP; which looks set to arrive on the Billboard 200 with disappointing figures.

Lights, lazers, and a mid-drift baring diva await after the jump…
