Mariah Carey‘s “shade dispenser” status has been established almost as long as her reign atop of the charts. Indeed, the legendary diva is renown for her quick-witted responses and  brisk dismissal of tomfoolery.

Hence, it was little surprise that the singer adopted this approach when addressing her “beef” with Nicki Minaj in a sit-down interview with Barbara Walters on Nightline last night.

Famed for asking questions the people really want answers to, Walters quizzed Carey on the drama with her fellow American Idol judge,  motherhood, marriage, and more.

The segment also featured Mimi working on patriotic cut ‘Bring It On Home’ and another piano-driven number – the latter of which believed to be a track from her upcoming album.

Maxwell is wasting no time setting the wheels in motion for his ‘Summers” album campaign.

The Grammy winner, who has seen each of his four studio albums certified Platinum, last week unwrapped a partial tracklist for the hotly anticipated LP.

However, today saw the 39 year old crank anticipation into overdrive after he shared a snippet of ‘Gods’ – a cut from the follow-up to 2009’s ‘BLACKsummers’night’.

 Peep these snaps of ‘Styled To Rock’ front woman Rihanna, out and about in Hollywood.

Perhaps celebrating the news of Rita Ora‘s debut album reaching Platinum status in the UK (though we doubt it), the Pop beauty hit the ‘My Studio’ Club sporting a brand new look, snapped by paparazzi and armed with full time shadow Melissa Forde.

Quite interestingly, Riri wasn’t the only Chris Brown affiliated beauty at the club last night. Indeed, the venue also welcomed her alleged love rival Karrueche Tran, who left 15 minutes after arrival.

Sure, while the ‘mess’ with Mariah Carey has ensured the ‘worst’ side of her persona has been placed under public scrutiny, a new teaser released today showcases the lighter side to the Rap Queen. So lighthearted, even Carey seemed amused by her ‘ab related’ antics.

Fantasia has swapped the scandal for sparkle, shining bright on the set of the video for her new single ‘Lose To Win’.

The rousing midtempo is the lead release from the 28 year old belter’s fourth studio album, which is reportedly due in March. And while little is presently known about the project, the American Idol alum has gone on record to confirm that the LP will boast a “rock soul” sound.
