Bruno Mars is hitting stages across the globe in support of new single ’24k Magic’ and its like-titled album.

Skavlan in Norway was hit latest stop.

Backed by his ever-present Hooligans, Mr Mars marvelled with a spirited showing of the song – which has thus far peaked in the top 5 in countless countries including the US and UK.

Should the 30-year-old keep it up, the album – due Nov. 18th – will also be a fixture in the upper echelon of the charts.

Standing as the embodiment of Dancehall’s permeation of Pop culture is Era Istrefi, the Kosovar vocalist behind the hit single ‘Bon Bon.’

Inspired by sights and sounds created by the likes of Beenie Man, Patra and Lady Saw, the gifted Era rose to fame when the aforementioned single (which was recorded in her native tongue) was carried above and beyond her domestic market by fans online.

Bruno Mars brought his ’24k Magic’ campaign to British shores this week, thrilling with a show-stopping performance on ‘The X Factor UK.’

Backed by his trusty troop, otherwise known as The Hooligans, the 30-year-old offered a polished showing of the title track from his 3rd LP.

Due in stores November 18th, the project is also being supported by high-profile spots on the AMAs, EMAs, and Victoria’s Secret Show.

Lady Gaga is benefiting from both this week.

New album ‘Joanne’ is on-course to top the Billboard 200 with relatively impressive sales; a feat that surprised some given that it’s yet to yield a huge hit. [Lead offering ‘Perfect Illusion’ debuted and peaked at #15, quickly falling thereafter.]

“Everybody’s invited to this party we’re about to throw – don’t be the guy left out!”

Those were the words of a certain Bruno Mars during a new promotional interview for new album ’24k Magic.’

Due in stores November 18th, the LP is preceded at retail by its title track, which has thus far peaked at #5 on the Billboard Hot 100.

With a slew of TV spots lined up, such as the AMAs, EMAs, and The X Factor this Sunday, the funky production is almost certainly set to climb even higher.

Surprisingly, despite this, the crooner insists this cycle is not about singles success.

Hinting that his current release is merely an “invitation” to the main attraction (aka the album as a whole), Mars explained to host Carson Daly that the he wants the set to be consumed whole. In all its turnt up glory.

While the critical and relative commercial failure of 2013’s ‘Artpop’ (and its singles) signaled to some a significant fall from grace for Grammy winning songbird Lady Gaga, the three years that followed proved quite the opposite.  Redemption arrived in several packages including a highly praised, Grammy-winning chart-topper with jazz legend Tony Bennett, two stunning Academy Awards performances, and a Golden Globe win for her role in the ‘American Horror Story’ franchise.

As the feats above collectively seemed to spell great anticipation for a “proper” comeback of the eccentric songstress, many-a-diehard fan was sure the singer/songwriter’s reignited star would see her new music greeted with similar fanfare – a notion only solidified by word she’d reconnected with serial hitmaker RedOne for production contributions to the new project.

October is upon, which means so too is the release month of Lady Gaga‘s new album ‘Joanne.’

Set for release on the 21st, the set serves as the superstar’s fifth studio album and her first solo LP since 2013’s ‘ARTPOP.’

Markedly different from previous projects thematically, the album seems to skew rawer and more emotive.

Undeterred by the backlash to her VMA showing, Britney Spears is back to her old tricks.

During a promotional performance of new single ‘Make Me’ on the Today Show this morning, the singer’s microphone was noticeably mute. Instead, her studio voice blared from the speakers.
