The rapper/entrepreneur Ja Rule has issued an apology for the part he played in the horrific Fyre Festival scam and how it exploited black men and women working in the Bahamas.

This, after fans threatened to boycott his live shows after seeing the Netflix documentary about the incident.

After weeks of teasing,  Ariana Grande‘s unveiled the accompanying visual to ‘7 Rings.’  The latest cut from her yet-titled fifth album to receive the video treatment, ‘Rings’ comes as quite the worthy follow-up to 2018 megahit, ‘thank u, next,’ and ‘Imagine.’

Inspired by a real life shopping trip that saw Grande take her friends to Tiffany & Co., the bevy of bling featured in the Trap-inspired clip shows they definitely didn’t leave the store empty-handed.

Nearly 6 years separate fans of Kelly Rowland, affectionately known as #RowlandStones, from a new album from the R&B songstress.  Despite building buzz along the way with isolated singles and other business ventures (see:  book, charity events, reality show singing competitions, etc.) scattered over the last half decade, promotional support for the aforementioned efforts was often accompanied with promises of ‘it’s coming’ as fans pressured for concrete news.

Now, speaking with our friends at Billboard, the 37-year-old has assured readers the wait’s nearly come to an end.  As fans continue to laud her braggadocious, eponymous single released at the tail end of 2018 (click here to listen), Rowland’s going on record to say its parent album is just about ready to come out of the oven:

JoJo delighted her legion of loyal fans last month when she re-recorded and released her first and second studio albums.

The songbird’s much publicised legal wrangle with her former label saw the projects (2004’s self-titled set and 2006’s ‘The High Road’) unavailable on digital retail and streaming services.

A wrong, she says, hat she felt compelled to make right.

In a new interview, she expanded on the lengthy process of piecing together the surprise releases. Perhaps most excitingly, though, she also opened up about her next musical chapter – which includes a brand new label deal.

Ariana Grande fans, affectionately called #Arianators, who rejoiced at news the powerhouse singer added even more dates to her already lengthy ‘Sweetener’ world tour (in support of her 2018-released fourth album of the same name) have been dealt some bitter news.
