As some may remember from Alexandra Burke‘s X-Factor journey, the star’s mother, Melissa Bell, has been battling kidney disease for several years.

According to new reports today, the former Soul II Soul singer’s condition has worsened, with a new kidney now urgently needed – one Alexandra herself has offered to provide for her mother.
