It has been announced that Hip-Hop heavyweight Kanye West will make his return to the stage at this month’s BET Awards, where he will perform new single ‘Power’.

For the last year, West has kept a low profile, after sparking much publicised controversy following his now infamous run-in with Taylor Swift at MTV VMA’s. In that period, the Grammy winner continued to work on his hotly anticipated new LP ‘Good Ass Job’ – which is set for release later this year.

The 2010 BET Awards airs live from the Los Angeles’ Shrine Auditorium on June 27th.
