Nicki Minaj not only rocked Billboard history books in August 2022 with the premiere of her #1 hit, ‘Super Freaky Girl,’ but she placed flags at a number of personal milestones thanks to the song’s enduring success.
In fact, by the time the Dr. Luke-produced bop finished its 25-week run on the Hot 100 it ranked as her third longest-charting solo single to date (bested only by the 39-week stay of ‘Super Bass’ and 31-week run of ‘Starships‘).
Its wins aren’t limited to Billboard, however.
After jetting to Platinum status at the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) at record speed, it recently one-upped itself in the organization’s rankings.

One of Jackson Wang‘s self-proclaimed ‘dream collaborations’ became a reality earlier this year when he lifted the lid on ‘Slow‘ – a duet with GRAMMY-winning songstress Ciara.
Reportedly one of many gems set to line ‘Magic Man 2,’ the follow-up to his critically acclaimed 2022 album ‘Magic Man,’ ‘Slow’ has been everything but as it relates to racking up streams on major digital outlets like Spotify and Apple Music.
“Take it slowly, you gotta pace yourself, oh (Oh, baby)/ It’s me and you only, I don’t want nobody else (No, no, baby), but you gotta take it easy, slow the pace, ain’t a race, woah/ I’m here all night for love, that’s right, when you please me, pump the brakes, you can take your sweet time,” Ci croons on the LUYO & DVLP-produced track.
Supported by a choreography-laden music video released in late April that saw the two stars show off some fancy footwork, fans of the unlikely duo have now been invited to see how the magic from the Magic Man came to be via a behind the scenes clip.

It’s been nearly 2 years since the meteoric fall of rapper DaBaby, a once-promising career derailed by legal woes, baby mama drama, and a homophobic rant that saw him effectively cancelled by peers and fans alike.
As evidenced by the multiple projects he released over 2022, however, those missteps have not stopped the determined hitmaker from reigniting interest in his catalog – an endeavor he’s continuing in 2023 with the unveiling of a three-track bundle titled ‘Call Da Fireman.’ Bolstered by the hard-hitting ‘Shake Sumn’ (which is gaining traction on Tik Tok), ‘Fireman’ also features the warmly received ‘Sellin Crack’ (featuring former Migos star Offset) and ‘Ghetto Girls.’
To further bring the heat, ‘Shake’ has been gifted the visual treatment. Look inside to see the ReelGoats-directed action.
