Usher revealed the official cover art for his upcoming studio album, ‘Raymond vs. Raymond’, recently. The entertainer, who is gearing up for the March 3oth release of the LP, seems of have had a change of heart regarding the previously released album art. Let’s see if this new cover will get more people interested in the ‘Raymond vs. Raymond’.

The ever-present Beyonce was spotted working on the set of her new Super Bowl commercial recently. The singer is featured in the clip for the LCD HDTV, company VIZIO. The production is being directed by Wally Pfister.

Actress Gabrielle Union was also in attendance at the event, which was held at the The W South Beach earlier today (February 5th).

It has been announced today that Alicia Keys and Beyonce will be shooting their new video on February 9th. The clip, which will support the 3rd single from Keys’ ‘The Element of Freedom’ LP, ‘Put It In A Love Song’, will be shot in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. {Source} To date, ‘Put It In A Love Song’ has thus far peaked at #60 on the Hip-Hop/R&B charts.

‘Put It In a Love Song’ is one of the stronger songs on Keys’ album so I am very pleased to see that it is getting video treatment. However, for an artist who promised to take a break this year, Beyonce really is maintaining her media presence. In addition to this video, she will also be featured in Lady GaGa’s ‘Telephone’ clip as well as in a fresh wave of promotional ads from her ‘Heat’ fragrance. Unless she has another ‘Sasha Fierce’ concept under her sleeve, I won’t be surprised if people had their fill of Beyonce by the end of 2010.

UK singer released the music video for her new song ‘O.M.G.’ today. The song is her first solo single, due for UK release on March 22. Washington’s debut album ‘Strip’ hits stores in the early summer 2010.

The typical affair, the video was filled with glamour shots, high fashion and sex appeal. For her first video, however, it is certainly a good effort. The song is a strong contender for the UK Singles Chart and should fair well. I definitely expect to see big things from her in the near future.

Christina Aguilera and Cher sat down with ‘Entertainment Tonight’ to give a behind the scenes preview of their new movie ‘Burlesque’. The duo talked about their roles in the film where Aguilera plays a young singer who helps Cher with her struggling burlesque club. The film hits the big screen on November 24th.

I would be lying if I said that I was the least bit intrigued by this film. There have been at least 10 other productions with the exact same storyline and looking at the musical aspects, I have already started to get horrible flashbacks of the scream-fest that was Aguilera’s ‘Back 2 Basics’ LP. Hopefully, the movie is not as bad as it seems.

Seemingly not content with the media attention her worldwide #1 ‘Tik Tik’ is receiving, newcomer Ke$ha has today posted a video of what appears to be her vandalizing the iconic Hollywood sign, spray-painting ‘Ke$haWood’ over it. Check it out above…

Yawn. Though a relatively daring deed conceptually, it’s doubtful this is anything more than a publicity stunt – a cheap one at that. One need not look further than the fact the clip is well / professionally edited, as well as, of course, the fact her behind would have been arrested had thus been true! Still, I guess when an ‘artist’ is talent-starved, resorting to such actions to validate her ‘rebel’ status  is the next logical step. Boo!
